1. It would honestly put a smile on My face and put a smile on Rob's face from playstation access

2. Now they just need to put this collection on ps4 and do what everybody else is doing like with shadow of the collosus and spyro

4. What remains is a failed and not totally playable game
   It's a run-of-the-mill basic adventure game with so many unforgivable flaws

   Perhaps developers should be making new games instead of porting a mediocre failed platformer game back over and over to PS3/4-etc, the game looked and played terrible back then, it hasn't changed a bit now 🙁

14. My God are you serious??? Comparing this mess to Ratchet and Clank? And then having the cheek to say this is better? lol Ratchet and Clank are some of the most visually striking games ever made and the controls are absolutely spot on, responsive, fluid and easy to master. I'm playing Jak 1 at the moment and came on here to see what other people are saying about it, because to be quite frank, I think it's a pile of shite. I can't ever say I've played a game with such clunky, heavy and unresponsive controls as this, the camera is abysmal and nearly always points opposite where you need it to be, making some of the jumps ridiculously difficult to get right. The vehicle that you get to drive feels like a lump of concrete and turns like a bus going in slow motion. The graphics are so old and dated and for a game apparently "remastered" for the PS4, it's laughable. Safe to say i won't be buying the 2nd or 3rd installments after playing the Precurser legacy one, I can't remember playing a game that's made me curse and swear as much as this. You'd have thought at the very least, remastering it would have meant refining the controls to make them more fluid and less sluggish. Nostalgia is definitely clouding peoples minds on this one.

    Plus, I've never got this whole obsession with "trophies", what do they matter? So you get a trophy that says you got past level 1, another that says you collected 200 eggs, it's barmy, you get nothing for them, no rewards, they enhance gameplay 0% and yet such a big thing is made of them, why? A completely pointless medium IMO

24. Lol what? Crash didn't make a name for Naughty Dog? Are you on Crack? Crash 2 and 3 are largely considered to be some of the best games on the PS1 and he was the mascot Sony used to directly compete Mario in Nintendo. This why so many people hate on IGN, because there commentators say stupid things.

28. Jak 3 was definitely one of the best ps2 games. I wish they make Jak 4 with the same feeling i got originally playing jak 3, the feeling that it's ahead of it's time.

29. I never played R&C or Sly but I imagine they're both on par with Jak and Daxter. From what I've seen of the other two series I figure J&D is probably the most mature of the three

30. Dude jak and daxter was not a platformer they had platforming elements but sly was the only platformer

31. I don't care if you think this is better, that's your opinion, I like Ratchet & Clank the best, and if you don't like it, then you don't have to pan it down by saying this is way cooler than that, because to me Ratchet is the coolest, baddest and greatest, and people on IGN always lie. ??

32. Ratchet and Clank 1 has better gameplay than Jak 1. That is a fact. Ratchet and clank has more fun action, and Jak is mostly just platforming.

33. The original Jak and Daxter is, for me the peak of Naughty Dog's career. Crash games were medicore at best, later Jak games turned into shooters, Uncharted is a boring Tomb Raider ripoff and Last of Us I just couldn't get into… But man, the original Jak & Daxter.. Such an excellent platformer
