  1. Nice, thank you. There is also a large number of refugees and deportees from Haiti and a lot of other places who have ended up in Tijuana that could benefit from btc.

  2. It looks to me that new money and new buyers must be in the market now. The demand is so much stronger this time. Unlike that run-up back in June that lost it's mojo when it hit 775 then fell back until the end of the year.
Yes that exchange in Mexico has a chance to become financial hub that provides instant transactions at a fee that's lower than the standard bitcoin transaction fee. With the fees being what they are these days 3rd parties are going to start taking some of that business.

  3. Thanks for the great videos. Couldn't find BitPeso Volume charting data anywhere except Coin dance (below). According to LocalBitcoins, I wouldn't exactly say Mex volume is "exploding", but its potential like the entire African market of 1B w similar stats which is far bigger, is promising. Also notice other countries' volume like Russia, Europe, UK, Sweden, Switzerland, Australia, Kenya, Malaysia etc.. all way up in Local cash-to-btc volume. https://coin.dance/volume/localbitcoins/MXN

  4. Great episode Chris. Thanks for explaining the candles, that's great info for people who are not familiar with trading. I think it would be great if you continue giving these type of explanations when you do the review of the btc chart.
Another recommendation is to show charts and examples on how to measure the value of commodities as you mentioned. Like measuring btc to oil, houses, etc., if people understand how to do it, that will greatly help them with their investments. For example knowing when to sell or buy a specific asset based on its current value (purchasing power). Thanks!

  5. The spinning top candle analysis for the most recent trading days left out the fact that there was a 3-day New Years Day holiday. Some people went on vacation and let their profits ride. As they are likely to continue. World currency markets are so fragile that Bitcoin is finding a very broad audience (and participants) worldwide. While there is always a black swan in the world of possibilities, it appears that Bitcoin's run is likely to continue. GBTC – a self-administered IRA-tradeable equity that follows Bitcoin rises 2% per day every day these days.

  6. Hey Chris,

Thanks so much for all the great videos. I've started letting ads play on content I like because of you. 😉

Quick question on Steem. What are your thoughts on Steem Power, or are you just holding Steem?

Hope 2017 is your best year yet!

  7. Hello chris, just wanted to say that i also would like to learn more about the Fibonacci lines…..i also think that newbies would prefer the black background as it seems easier to understand, well for me at least…but your the boss lol thx.

  8. Funny thing is they recently had a competition on volume and gave discounts on exchange fees as a holiday promotion.

I got 3rd highest volume on the Mexican bitcoin exchange bitso and another friend of mine that uses it got 13th place.

Volume is booming, but it's still very limited compared to China, US, or Europe.
