Why would you want to go this route when you could use the cash to buy crypto anyway?
Wirex has had 0.5% cryptoback on their VISA cards in the UK and the rest of the EU since May. Haven't you heard about it, Chris?

I actually got a Revolut card a while ago since you could seemingly buy Crypto from within the app… in theory that is the case, in practice however the rates were that bad that it really wasn't appealing.
Secondly, their crypto seems to be a "closed box". If I remember correctly, you couldn't transfer any crypto to your Revolut account/wallet nor could you get it back out as such. So you could only exchange within the closed Revolut environment at pretty poor rates.
Admittedly, any crypto cashback is better than a kick in the teeth but you would have to spend at least – since your crypto buying rates will be poor – £1300 per month outside of Europe just to recoup the cost of the card. Admittedly there are more benefits to this card than just the cashback.

I understand the Wirex card does the same thing. Anyone that doesn't live in the USA are lucky. Our politicians colluding with the banks don't allow US Citizens participate in either Wirex or Revolut cards. It sucks! So much for "living in the land of the free".

Revolut don't give real crypto. And its £12.99 a month for the card. Wirex give real crypto cashback and their card is only £1 a month and they've been doing it for ages
0.1% from European purchases eh? I'll stick to my Wirex card at 0.5% then …
