I don't reckon that the altcoins really had too much to do with the crash, it was just a parabolic curve that was simply unsustainable, a bubble, it then deflated and here we are….if you look at it from a august 2017 aspect we are still "up" its just peoples perspective always tends to look at it from the record ATH, not where the market was 18 months ago, I'm holding for the long term.

Great Video…. Bitcoin, the first largest cryptocurrency, has had it rough since it reached its peak at $19,500. After the 2017 December to 2018 January frenzy ended, everyone was expecting BTC to recover. Unfortunately it didn't recover and things only got worse. Right now BTC is hovering above $4,000 and there is no saying when another bear grip will take the price below this level. bitcoin has no purpose, can't scale . made to make money for the core and added the lightening network that doesn't work . other coins do have a purpose . bitcoin is an altcoin a segwit coin not the original bitcoin.
