  1. I’m calling it… foldable tablets where it can take the shape of a laptop (bottom half touch keyboard) and top half screen then unfold back to a full screen.. that would be dope

  2. I don't know, the samsung one looked like it had a flat fold, maybe it wasn't and that's why the lighting was so dark, but it looked like a pretty good fold unlike the flex pai or xiaomi.

  3. I just don’t understand why folding your smartphone is useful….personally I’d rather carry a separate smart phone and tablet

  4. I don't understand this question that why do we need foldable phones. No one has ever seen just one episode of Westworld? Why wouldn't we want that kind of phones that are just regular sized when folded but if we want, we could fold out a 20 inch display? All of this packed with faster and faster hardware. Right now, we are at the point where we don't really need entry level laptops anymore because tablets can do the same work.

  5. I'm still waiting for the phone to come in a normal pair of glasses. kinda of what Google Glass was doing. Or the Intel one The Verge covered but cancelled. Really what I want is a Focus like in Horizon Zero Dawn.

  6. I guess foldable phones will have two main benefits over normal phones:
1- The camera will be a single cutting-edge module.
2- When the phone is folded it should be a bezel-less phone (if Xiaomi for example developed their prototype more).
Can't wait to see it on the market.

  7. Foldable I believe makes a lot more sense on a tablet/laptop. Having a laptop that has a screen that folds has a lot of potential since for years companies.are trying to find that sweet spot for marrying the laptop with a tablet.
