  1. How da fuq is it possible to have a phone without a headphone jack even make it to such a ranking? I think you guys are getting a bit confused on the topic.

  2. Im happy with lg from 4 years ago, I still have radio ans that's useful for me, and with the new quad dac 24bits and hi res headphones is the best

  3. There is all this hype about V series for audio, I don't know i didn't have a chance to try one. I use Huawei mate 9 (not pro) all I can say that the headphone jack is amazing. I owned quite a lot of over-ears and IEMs and let me tell you all of them are so loud I certainly cannot get close to maxing any of them. The loudest got to be Brainwavs B400. I usually listen to those at around 30-40% volume, 50% would be really loud, and 60 and over if I want to destroy my ears. It's not just the loud factor, quality of sound is certainly there, I cannot imagine what could improve with V series. I don't know and I'm not saying they aren't better than the rest of today's phones but Im just not sure how mate 9 audio performance stacks up to "the best" all I'm saying my current combo mate 9 and b400 is pretty sweet.

  4. The Nokia 8 has a very underpowered and anaemic amp. I am constantly struggling for volume in instrumental and classical tracks. And I use 16 ohms impedance earphones. Plus even with 8.1 90% of the time the Nokia 8 refuses to play BT audio in anything above SBC even if the connected device supports aptX.
I'm going to ditch this and get a G7 soon.
