8. Schnorr signatures will aid scaling as will increased segwit adoption, which has already significantly increased btc transaction capacity. Decentralization is something to take seriously, and the argument isn't as trivial as you make it sound. Look at some of the other blockchains and the difficulty users are already having in spinning up and syncing full nodes now. If we want further scaling it must be done though layer 2 or incremental improvements to signatures. Suggesting we increase the block size to accomodate the whole world's transactions is like suggesting we replace all credit card transactions with swift.

10. I personally disagree with increasing the block size, if someone really needs to send money fast then they can either use lightning or another coin like Litecoin. Bitcoin must avoid a hard fork at all costs because doing so would be opening pandora's box.

20. I think if we do see a break out to the upside then btc would only go about $4,250 then move back down to about $3600. I do agree, I think we will see a big move here in the next few days.

29. I know it saddens many to hear this…but BTC will be the province of the wealthy in the future. Today gold is not held by the avg man, in the future btc will not be held by the avg man. Bitcoin as gold will be available on to the wealthy. There are 2000 alts with censorship resistance (think DGB, Nano, Grin) and growing that common people will be able to use as currency. I agree with Brendan, as global reserve currency and the base store of value, BTC will be priced out of avg person reach and therefore it does not need to scale. At a million dollar valuation, those that hold a solid btc will not mind if it cost 25.00 or 50.00 usd to send at that point and therefore BTC does not need to scale. BTC is not currency it provides the basis for which all other cryptos ( govt issued, public blockchains, and private corporate coins) are and will be measured
