  1. I just loved the phylosofical message of eternity through different timelines and alternate universes, reminded me of steins gate and the eternal joyness and eternal suffering that is infinity.

  2. It was half of the population of the planet, the people who got dusted weren't like 50 percent high schoolers, 50 percent cops, 50 percent hippies etc, it was random so it's not that far fetched a lot of his friends also got dusted.

  3. I'm all for spoiler discussions with appropriate tagging, but putting "what year is it" in the title implies passage of time. I've seen the movie, so I'm not saying it spoiled me, but others that haven't seen it and subscribe here shouldn't be getting spoilers from a title, especially from an entity like IGN that advocates for pop culture. It's a bad look to be honest.

  4. The decimation is supposed to be completely random.
Think about true randomness. Remember when people complained that iTunes shuffle wasn't random enough? That's because it WAS random. True randomness means you could get any number of songs by the same artist in a row, completely randomly. So, Apple changed it to avoid true randomness, and not play the same artist twice in a row etc etc.
Being truly random means, yeah, some families will have half of the people get dusted. Some groups of people will entirely disappear, and some will not be affected at all. Of course, everything written into the MCU has purpose, but this makes it plausible.

  5. They said his friends/the cast were dusted, not the entire high school. The people in the high school could just be the kids who were 5 years younger than Peter and the rest of the cast, and so when they were brought back along with anyone else in their high school, they went back to their grade while those who weren’t snapped away grew up either into their grade or the people their age became adults.

  6. There was a clear plot hole in End Game from Ant Man and The Wasp. Ant Man said in the Quantum realm time moves much slower where 5 hours = 5 years. If that was the case wouldn’t the original Wasp be decades younger that Hank Pym when they rescued her from the Quantum Realm????

  7. I don’t think they are gonna deal with or dwell into how they guys feel about being decimated they coming back after five years. But I don’t hunk so much has changed in the world due to the mourning period putting everything on a stand still.
