IGN Posts Bizarre Video Seemingly Defending 6.5 Days Gone score | Gamespot Review Gets Called Out

1. For anyone wondering no this is not just about Days Gone getting lower review scores from IGN Gamespot, its about the issue with these outlets and the people behind them. I'm not trying to make it sound like everything they do or put out or review is a major problem but it becomes very clear at times like this what their agenda is. Not only that but IGN making a video that defending itself and going against its audience is just a bad look and people can see right through it. The fact that outlets like IGN and Gamepot gave games like Sea Of Thieves a 7/10 and Anthem a 6/10 just goes to show how out of touch they really are. Not only that but looking at this Gamespot review it becomes clear that it wasn't a very good review at all and most of the negatives just focused on the narrative of the game, not much about the actual gameplay at all. In my opinion a "professional" reviewer should not just be judging a game on story alone. These outlets have become a joke.

6. 1 thing bend should add is more variety with npcs. I'm getting lots of npcs that are exactly the same. It's like… "wait didn't I rescue you from a car like 10 times" immersion broken.. Camp's Npcs say the same thing over and over again too. Fucking pissing me off. Either say it once and shut up or come up with more dialogue. Npcs at new camps repeating what old campers say too… New dialogue isn't hard.

7. Who cares about IGN ratings? It's an PS EXCLUSIVE that's it.

9. I'm surprised people actually take ign, and other game reviewers seriously. Gamespot gave it a 5, and the reviewer complained about the freakers all being white. Which I think I heard people explain why they're all white, I dunno I haven't gotten that far but if they do than she clearly didn't play the full game. Even if she did why is that something to complain about? I'll tell you why she's a SJW, and it's clear SJW's wouldn't like this game from the bit I played of it they're funny jokes like Deacon saying "I'm not Politically correct". Than again SJW's bitch and moan about everything, reviews are opinion based and would any gamer really believe an SJW take on gaming? SJW's look for politics, they judge games based on nothing but politics not on how good a game is.

11. IGN scored Half Life, God Hand, Alien Isolation and Doom 2016 lower than Imagine Party Babyz which sits at 7.5! That's all you need to know about IGN.

12. Keep in mind, Kallie Plagge did the review for days gone. This is the same person from the ign "too much water" review, that turned into a full on meme. She just works for Gamespot now. Full sjw.

14. 6.5 to 7 sounds about right. It's a enjoyable game buts it's also just another 3rd person zombie game and let's face it those types of games have been done to death over the years.

18. The IGN and Gamespot review scores are a complete joke on this game. I was buying it anyway because I loved the look of it since the 2016 E3 trailer (or whenever if was), and I'm glad I didn't take any notice of their low scores. For those who are on the fence, do yourselves a favor and go pick this game up if you like open world style games. Plus the bike is an awesome way to get around in this world, I'm probably half way through the story and have never felt bored.

19. When you first encounter a Freaker horde the game even recommends that you not attempt to take them on until you are ready, so if that's a game breaker for IGN in a game that constantly allows you to level up, then that's due to their impatience and not Days Gone's lack of quality.

20. they are just trying to get clicks bro. let em milk it, everyone else is doing it. The same will be done for any/every review that can cause controversy. Just like the lot of these youTubers, these reviewers ain't loyal. Their #1 love will be the clicks, not games.

21. They did the same thing to The Order 1886 just because it was "too short". The Order was a masterpiece of a game well crafted, great gameplay and graphics are still almost unmatched.

25. Days gone is not a 6.5 or 5. If they said it was a buggy mess hence the score. Cool I understand that and that's all sonys fault but that wasnt the issue. The game is amazing! I love it.

    Side note the game makes a joke about how white the area is. Deek says there is like one brother in the club. Jersey mike I think his name was. So of course there will be a ton of white freakers. I think only certain freakers are white skinned. Also their are black people in the game and Latinos etc etc who the fuck cares. I live in the PNW about 2 hours north of Oregon. It's super white.
