I had a friend who thought it was gonna be a Fantastic 4 tease, and similar to how Captain America: CW brought Spiderman into the mix, they thought Spiderman might introduce F4 into the MCU by having Peter go into an internship with Reed Richards or something since his "Stark Internship" kinda fell through.

    Spectations are set when you're gonna reveal something that fans could spect due to demmand.

    Instead, this announcement comes across as pretentious:
    "Oh look at me, I'm the millionare writer giving my son a ticket to the mainstream"

13. So you’re telling me the internet over-speculated a tease of an announcement, incorrectly guessed what that announcement would be, then got pissed off when it was revealed not to be what they expected or wanted??? I’m truly shocked…

    Entertainment companies need to just give up on announcement teases, and countdowns… it rarely works out for them. When there’s news to tell, just tell it. You can’t have fun with your fans anymore… like doing countdowns or bread-trail type announcement hype events. The internet is just way too shitty nowadays… you’re almost guaranteed to have the majority of your fan base booing you. Just don’t bother… they really don’t deserve your efforts to entertain them.

32. I dont mind JJ Abrams. I actually really like the guy but they announced this terribly by starting at 4 making tons of fans like myself think it was a Spider-Man 4 comic adaption which would’ve been incredible. But now I am nothing but disappointed
