  1. Hopefully I could win. I bought refurb devices before, its a hit or miss sometimes you get lucky sometimes you dont. But if this company does say they have warranties then I don't see a problem.

  2. Let me say…. The first touchscreen smartphone was release on 20**……and I guys most of us dont know what pristine is… ?

  3. Refurbished phones suck balls, everyone I know with one, it was completely useless after 6months (dead battery + screen comes lose etc.) Since the company has to cut open the device to replace the battery, water resistance is gone. Only Apple has original screens and batteries.

  4. One thing you did not check is the battery life and screen durability, as we all know phones starting to die after a year so you go and buy a new one… i had s9 plus for exactly a year and as soon as my plan was about to end my phone didnt charge as quick as it did before and battery lasted less than a day and phone just felt slow

  5. If you’re already getting an older phone, then refurbished is good. However, these older phones may not get the latest software (more specifically android). So, I would not recommend it over a chronologically newer phone, but within the same model, it seems worth it.

  6. Refurbished is whatever you want it to be, because there is no standard. No government has set a standard. No industry has set a standard that members adhere to. Scammers milk the willingness of customers to believe it means something. Companys like NewEgg that let others sell, do not hold them accountable, the vendor set their own standard, which means there are 10,000 standards for that one site, that no one complies with. Refurbished meant they could cover a cracked and broken screen on a phone with a screen protector, and because you could not see that, it was refurbished. And when found out, insisted it met their standard for refurbished, and would not accept a return.
Much of what people are buying is rerubished.
