  1. went and did the Void myself yesterday. words just do not express what it feels like to be in there. When you first go in you think or just like any VR. But then you start walking and it feels more real. Then you touch something. A wall, a door, whatever and it suddenly feels VERY real. Then 4d effects start happening. Not just to happen but with logical reasons and at that point your brain is sold. Knowing full well that I was in a room on a solid floor didn't matter. I actually hesitated when I had to step out onto a wooden scaffold high on the air. seeing the ground far below. feeling changing air currents and wind. The floor actually wobbled a bit as I stepped onto it and a bucket sitting there toppled over.

this isn't a gimmick as 99% of VR is. This is the next leap forward.

  2. My friends dad owns the actual company, you don't have to believe me, but he let us go to the one in American fork Utah before it opened, it was really cool, i would highly reccommend it

  3. Might I also add that this technology could be absolutely incredible for helping people overcome mental phobias and fears.

  4. Seriously, I am ridiculously excited about this. Please come to London soon! I will be first in line. This is where it is at. This is the next level of gaming, and this type of gaming really will become as big if not bigger than the traditional movie theater

  5. wow that's looks amazing, I'm looking forward to seeing this virtual reality gaming experience expand all over the world. I want to be one of those few people who get a chance to experience something like this. I strongly and Turkey believe that this will be something big and along the way it will get more bigger and better.
    (I STRONGLY BELIEVE)

  7. Sounds great, just wondering how this should work when it is open. Lets assume that you enter the game, and stay within for how long? 10 Minutes? So the whole thing is occupied for 10 minutes for one person? How much will those 10 minutes cost, that it is worth for the VOID-people…??

  8. Wow, im from Germany but i can understand sooooooooo well! Nice Work! Can't wait for the launch in Germany! .. .yep the beard!… XD

  9. So… a VR game that controls where you move, how you move, and what you can and cannot "interact" with…

So… this is NOT a Virtual Reality Game. This is a Virtual Reality movie. This is like calling the kids museum exhibits or planetarium a "Video Game".

  10. This should be in every fun park. Disney world and other fun parks with rolllercoasters and all stuff they got, all around the world.

  11. Love the videos, everything looks professional, but to take it a next step, I'd really say improve the audio first and foremost. Then, think about getting another camera and recording over the shoulder rather than just a wide shot of the two of you.

  12. Rule of thirds used to an extreme. All the space on the left makes it distracting, cuts you out, and looks horribly framed. Still love the videos Quinn. Just some constructive criticism πŸ™‚

  13. We (me and three fellow students) have been working on a similar mobile installation that allows you to walk over a quartet of tiles. It is not as massive as this, because it is mobile, but it gives us the opportunity to move across the country with it. The thing you explained about not dairing to step off into the pit is exactly what the people explain when they've done our installation. They know it's solid floor but somehow their brain just disconnects from that logic and is completely immersed in the Tomb Raider-like temple that we've created in the virtual world where you walk over very high poles. It's awesome to be part of the 'pioneers' in developing for the VR platform.

  14. Absolutely LOVE the beard, Quinn. Also, The Void seems ridiculously awesome. I'm sure it would be fun with friends too. Bring this to NYC!!!
