  1. If you had been a cop in the US I would have judged you pretty negatively when you said you were a cop, but since you're in the UK it actually makes me like you more. I've always heard UK cops are good people.

  2. VR for work will be outpaced by AI and Automation. Its only a matter of time that AI changes CAD designing forever with generative design. Automation with SAP and advanced BIG Data scraping means manual entry of data will be no longer necessary. So there's your industry and VR for virtual presence in an office environment finished, admin won't be needed.

There is a much bigger problem for humanity coming than VR for working and being at home. It's the automation and AI making vast numbers of human workers unnecessary. Greater numbers of people with nothing better to do will drive VR for entertainment only…..

I don't feel like that's too far off from the mark on this one either. After seeing my own industry come to an end because of mass / lower production cost with globalization. More and more trades are just becoming redundant… After studying computer science also…. I can only see how I can now make my management redundant also.

  3. Why is there a golden egg appearing with the number 5? Watching this on my quest []-D

Btw, awesome setup you got there! I love it

  4. Holy crap…you were a cop? For 13 years?? How old are you? lol. But seriously…my respect level for you just went through the roof. My dad did 25 years, and was involved in the drug squad, the Emergency Response Team, and then eventually a crime scene investigator. My uncle, his brother, also did 25 years. Dad's station used to have shift parties that would rotate from one member's house to another's, and I used to be fascinated as a kid, just sitting there, listening to their shop talk. I remember one night, they're all out on our patio, playing 'Wasn't That A Party', singing as loud as they can…and it's 3 AM. Neighbors yelling to keep it down or they'll call the cops…and my dad yelling back, "Call the cops? We ARE the cops!" 😛

  5. I really enjoyed this new format. It made it feel much more conversational and casual than the talking head format that is the default for most content.

  6. I really dig those 180VR videos, they buffer better than 360, have better quality. If only we could leave comments in the YoutubeVR App (or at least read those left by others).. I know virtual keyboard sucks but it's easier to type "Great AMA Mike" than to take your headset off, look for a computer/smartphone, open same video, type in comment.
