  1. Haven't kept up with these shows in awhile, but I read this will also act as a sort of soft reboot of the DCEU? Any truth to that. Could make a world of difference for the mistakes of the DCEU and unify the TV universe with the larger DCEU

  2. I wanted to see some of the series of arrow verse but i dont wanna watch all of them but sadly they forced the cross over so you are obligated to see all of the arrowverse so i opted to not see anything

  3. I'm hoping the entire crossover looks really cinematic like DC Universe's shows (Doom Patrol & Swamp Thing) so that it looks like it could be released on DVD as a feature-length film.

  4. I love Arrow but I realised I was finally starting to lose interest last season, so I'm so glad this is coming. Something to really look forward to and to give Oliver Queen a perfect ending just at the right time.

  5. Tonally Black Lightning doesn't match the Arrowverse. I am utterly against this but if they do it then they need to do it right by having Black Lightning being presented as a 3d being who finds himself in a comic book world( which fits since the Arrowverse is so unrealistic in comparison.) And not only that but it also makes sense in a story setting because it's been established that superheroes don't exist in Black Lightning's universe other than himself. They only exist as comics.

Picture it. Jefferson confiscates the Crisis on Infinite Earths comic from a student and then later as he is looking at the cover, somehow his powers go haywire and he falls out next to the comic and wakes up in the Arrowverse unable to discern if it's a dream or reality. All he knows is that he has to get back home to his family and the only way to do that is to work with the heroes of the Arrowverse during the Crisis.

This is how it should be done. That way Black Lightning can join the Arrowverse without actually joining it and keep his individuality because Black Lightning has set itself apart from the Arrowverse from the beginning.

But I still firmly believe it should not be done at all.

  6. I'm actually super hyped for this. Endgame didnt bring this kind of hype for me and I do like both sides. I don't know if it's the characters or the history I have with DC but goddamn I can't wait!

  7. Ah so that’s why so many CW shows got cancelled. So they have enough budget for the huge amount of ? they are going to spend on this crossover.

  8. Let's get something straight. If Black Lightning is going to be FORCED into the Arrowverse then it shouldn't be called the Arrowverse anymore since the show was created as it's own thing and not a part of the Arrowverse. It's being forced into the Arrowverse most likely against the showrunner's wishes. The style and tone of the show makes it clear they didn't want it to be a part of the Arrowverse. It should no longer be called the Arrowverse if Black Lightning is going to be forced into it because that diminishes what Black Lightning did ON IT'S OWN. Established itself ON IT'S OWN!! So to continue to call the universe the Arrowverse when it's including a show that didn't spin off from it diminishes what the show accomplished BY ITSELF!!! From here on it should be called the DCWVERSE.

  9. One of the great things about Black Lightning was that it stood on it's own and didn't have to rely on the Arrowverse to be relevant. That sent a great message to people of color that this show and it's characters could stand on their own and be relevant without the help of white characters or white starpower to be relevant. There was no fear of these characters ever being tokenized and reduced to sidekicks, tokens, and inclusion quotas but now that just might happen to Black Lightning's characters. I am not happy about this.
