One Of A Kind: Why Bitcoin is 'The Next Bitcoin'

Spread the love

In this talk, Andreas addresses the speculation about what will be the “next Bitcoin” or the “next Ethereum.” Echoing previous talks like ‘Invest in Education Instead of Speculation,’ he argues that the focus on searching for the best investment or time to buy amid a sea of pump-and-dump schemes is a worse way to spend your time than gathering knowledge about how these systems work. He also tells the story about how he bought bitcoin for the first time, why it is not the get-rich-quick scheme you may think it is, and the ways they could fail.

This talk was delivered at the Athens’ Bitcoin and Blockchain Tech meetup on July 12th 2019 in Athens, Greece. If you want early-access to talks and a chance to participate in the monthly live Q&As with Andreas, become a patron:

  1. Can you explain "seedless setup" I see this on casa's website and other wallet websites nowadays about not using paper backups and going "seedless". How is this achieved? Is it safe and trustworthy? Do you give up any privacy?

  2. It’s a tax and trap scam. Nobody can prove who really created therefore does not know their motives. This should be the first red-flag.

I believe it was created for complete control. More so than the dollar. A one-world currency.

Per the Us constitution. Gold and silver is real money and nothing else.

  3. Isn't this what every market dominator said before they were replaced? Anybody remember how Nokia dominated the mobile phone market? Or how dominant the internet Explorer was? These were the "rabbits" in these markets before Google came along and offered something with a significantly better user experience

  4. Andreas if you are able to read this message, I am hoping you could respond in a video to address this question? Bitcoin is slowly adopting fraction reserve banking …is that possible? In a video by; "Mr_Kristof" re: Bitcoin supply could GET BLOWN WAY ABOVE 21 MILLION! …what is the likelihood that Institutional corporations could adapt a factional reserve banking system into Bitcoin and thereby cause there to be a excess supply of BTC? Myself I doubt that this is possible. Is there any validity to such a claim as in recent media news?

  5. Bitcoin will be the best store of value only crypto. For all the other use cases, EOS will take care of it. Bitcoin is digital gold. EOS is digital real estate. You can get a 3-4% passive return by staking your EOS to REX + EOS Nation proxy see EOS Nation telegram for more info

  6. somebody needs to figure out how to start a bitcoin mining farm off a mobile app. 100K tablets/phones on a network would be some serious computing power to hash. Do we have anything like that yet?
