Do you not have a flight limit of 400ft like we do in the UK? 500m vertical is straight in to commercial airspace….
Is it lighter than 250g? if not forget about it.
It has a DJI design language, looks sexier than the Mavic Mini if you ask me.

i think dji made the mini mavic to be under 250 gram so you can fly it without registre… if you dont care about that i think fimi se8 might be a good choice

So I'm just getting started, buying my first drone, I pre-ordered a mavic mini with fly more combo for $620 CAD taxes incl, with the promo code this is only $20 CAD more than the mini fly more, but also comes with two less batteries, no spare props, guards, carrying case and all those extras, for someone primarily looking for videos when they go on vacations and the odd flight here and there, is this a better option? Portability and cost would be a priority but not if it's going to be at the expense of winding up with tons of unusable footage.

So I see a mysterious listing of prices for the JJRC X12 along with the links for the FIMI. Should the cheaper JJRC be considered on par with this one or was that a type-o. As far as I can tell, this one seems to have better/smoother image stabilization for up-down transitions vs the video in your JJRC review.
All in all a pretty good drone I guess for the price ! – seems like these competing DJI drones are always getting better and better !
Mavic Mini, Fimi X8, Mavic Mini, Fimi X8. I hate decisions like this. I'm just wondering if DJI is going to release a firmware update that will add a few intelligent modes to the mini. But the Fimi seems like a solid well built drone. Thank you for the excellent review on the Fimi!
Great drone. I have it. And all the specifications are true. Not 5000m. But fly 7000m I tried. the battery lasts 30min. if you fly slowly.

Looks like the links you provided sell it for $469 only in Europe (European locations do not ship to the US). The only location which ships to the US is China and it lists it at the price $600+ and on top of that does not have it in stock.

Thanks for another good review. This drone certainly has the features I like, excerpt for terrain avoidance. It's more desirable than the Mavic Mini except for the cost and size. I'm a newer flier so I think the Mini is more my cup of tea until I get a lot more hours under my belt. Add terrain avoidance to this drone and keep the cost under US $900 and DJI will have some serious competition on their hands. Of course they have the Mavic Air, with got a lot of the same features. Is a puzzlement!

Just bought the cap, sorry not off amazon as it was very expensive. Got it off well known chinese marketplace. I had made up my own like that last year but as camera was mounted on peak had to counter balance it with about 300 grams of lead.
