#1 2020 Genesis G90

2020 Genesis G90 is the current flagship model from the brand, that gets completely redesigned after only 3 years on the market. It is scheduled to make its debut in the US at 2019 Los Angeles Autoshow.

#2 2020 Genesis GV80

2020 Genesis GV80 is the first SUV by the brand that is anticipated to premiere in LA in late November 2019. The model belongs to the mid-size segment, is built of the platform from the G80 sedan, and its design is based on the 2017 concept of the same name.

#3 2020 Genesis G70

2020 Genesis G70 compact sedan is the youngest production model from Genesis, that expands the brand’s range into a very competitive luxury small car segment, dominated by the Germany’s Big Three.

#4 2020 Genesis G80

Originally expected to be introduced back in April 2019, the facelifted G80 has been postponed once again. This means that the 2020 Genesis G80 model still comes in three engine options – the standard 3.8-liter V-6, the range-topping 5.0-liter V8 producing 420 horsepower and 383 pound-feet of torque, and the 3.3L Twin-Turbo V6.

#5 2020 Genesis Mint Concept

2020 Genesis Mint Concept is an all-electric hatchback from the brand that presents a completely new view on urban transport. It has a low and wide stance, sloping roof and an upward-pointing rear section that give it a much sportier look. It is possible that in the upcoming years, the futuristic model will get a continuation in the form a series-production premium city car from the brand.

BONUS Genesis Essentia

Genesis Essentia is a company’s take on a high-performance GT car that utilizes electric propulsion. It is speculated to go into production in 2020-2021.

  1. For affordable entry level luxury I would have no problem recommending the Genesis G70 (or Kia Telluride),
but for top end luxury which is still relatively attainable the Lexus 600h is king of the hill.

The G90 is rather vulgar-looking inside and out, the G80 is attractively styled and a very good value and ultimately pointless, but the G70 is the real standout in the Genesis lineup — a more powerful, better handling and more luxuriously appointed Kia Stinger GT for about the same money.
