11. The first thing to understand about bitcoin, with respect to government and regulations, is that bitcoin is self-regulating.
    Once governments accept bitcoins' self-regulation, they should then focus on understanding how the use of bitcoin is also self-regulated.
    Then .. the sensible thing for governments to do would be to go out and buy some bitcoin (emphasis added) Before the 'few' that 'own, control, pull-the-strings-of' said governments decide to do so first . . .
    Bitcoin is actually the solution, in this respect, to bringing back national financial sovereignty ..
    Let's all ask our local members of parliament the simple question " What is the level of our governments' commitment to nation financial sovereignty?" and when they ask – "what do you mean by that?" ask them softly "How much bitcoin do we own?"
    We corelate commitment to national financial soverreignty with ownership of bitcoin and plant this seed in the minds of our local mp's
    This is how we can work together globally at a grass roots level to enact change.

    Please share this idea Carl, or your thoughts on it if you disagree or see room for improvement .. it's your content that has inspired my thoughts so thank you for that.

16. UBI is NOT socialism. UBI is a form of Quantitative Easing.
    UBI is a money creation policy (vs fraction reserve lending) aka a monetary policy. Bankers love the current cantillon effect.
    ? Socialism is, however, when excess economic production goes to the People. (Finand, Denmark, etc)
    whereas, Communism, is when excess production goes to the Nation. (China, USSR, etc)

    Grossly oversimplified, but I encourage research from qualified sources.

I don't know much of anything about Andrew Yang, but what if he's not a Socialist, but just really bearish on the dollar, and wants it spent into oblivion, while giving away free Bitcoin? 20. UBI is not that simple subject man, you should research a bit more about UBI so you can have a more informed opinion. UBI is supposed to be more of a right and not a welfare program, actually many people on the right defend UBI because it can abolish almost all welfare programs. that's where some of the money would come from, less spending on those programs and all the bureocracy, less spending on food and health for poor and homeless, etc… the UBI program that occurred in some places resulted in more kids in school, less sick people in hospitals, more entrepeneurism, etc…
    you can check for instance the Ameer Rosic channel he did an interview about a month ago about Basic Income

21. Carl, Andrew's money is not free. It's a dividend from taxes, otherwise would go to social programs (which means goes to influential people's pockets). He is trying to cut out the middle man.
    You have no idea how expensive things are in the US. One day in a hospital costed me $10k. That's more than 1 BTC right now. The taxes are absurd. The military spending is absurd. Andrew plan to change that a bit. He is the candidate the US currently needs.
    He is far from a socialist (that's Bernie Sanders). He is a businessman. He understand capitalism.

26. He's not advocating printing money. He's largely paying for it through a 10% VAT. It's not "socialism" either because the gov't isn't touching the means of production. It's just money circulating through the economy. Some Libertarians have supported this idea as well.
