The 2020 model year for BMW could be characterized by a couple of main trends: bigger kidney grills, new 4-door grand coupes, updated crossovers, rising horsepower and gradual electrification of the lineup. As a result of these tendencies, we are witnessing the release of 10 all-new models which are definitely worth your attention. #1 2020 BMW 8 Series Gran Coupe / M8 Competition

After being forgotten for 20 years, the 8-Series grand tourer made a market come back in 2019, in coupe and convertible body styles. Now, the family is getting another member – a luxury four-door sedan, aptly named the 2020 BMW 8 Series Gran Coupe. 4 models are available – 840i with RWD or AWD, M850i xDrive, M8 and M8 Competition.

#2 2020 BMW X6 & X6 M

All-new for the 2020 model year, the BMW X6 enters its 3rd generation, and of course, it is arriving in the company of two M-engineered siblings: M and M Competition.

#3 2020 BMW 2 Series Gran Coupe

2020 BMW 2 Series Gran Coupe has completed its final testing and is ready to enter the premium compact segment in spring 2020. The new coupe shares the UKL2 platform with the 1-Series hatchback, inheriting the engines lineup and interior design from a sister model.

#4 2020 BMW i4

BMW will be opening up its electric lineup based on the CLAR platform with the iX3 crossover, however, right next in line stands the sedan model which shares design and dimensions with the 4 Series.

#5 2020 BMW X5 xDrive45e

After 5 years on the market, the X5 40e PHEV is being replaced by a more powerful 2020 BMW X5 xDrive45e, that gets the company’s new generation e-Drive powertrain.

#6 2020 BMW 1 Series & M135i xDrive

Available only as a 5-door hatchback, the new 1 Series belongs to the 3rd generation of the family, that makes a debut for the 2020 model year. In Europe, the car is offered in 2 gasoline and 3 diesel modifications, with the M135i being the range-topping one.

#7 2020 BMW Concept 4

2020 BMW Concept 4 was revealed at the 2019 Frankfurt Motor Show, and it now is expected to hit assembly lines in late 2020, as a new 4-Series coupe.

#8 2020 BMW iX3

of all powertrain variants, so the upcoming iX3, in essence, will be an electric version of the internal combustion iX3 crossover.

#9 2020 BMW 3 Series & BMW 330e

The 3 Series compact executive sedan has been with us for 45 years and in 2020 its transitioning to the 7th generation. As expected, the visual changes are reflected in the sharper body lines and a bigger kidney grille.

#10 2020 BMW X1

2020 BMW X1 gets a mid-cycle refresh this year, resulting in a more streamlined exterior design and new engine options, including the X1’s first plug-in hybrid drivetrain for the global market.
