11. This is why I survive on my iPhone 6’s. Not seen anything that’s more enough to be worth the giant price tag. I picked up an 11 and expect for a redesigned shell and a bit brighter screen and a slightly better camera it felt like the same phone as my iPhone 6’s wasn’t enough for me to think yes it’s worth the added extra to upgrade. Maybe one day when the prices fall.

16. If Smartphone companies go down this road… how would you go about upgrading? Smartphones would need to be made for longer cycles instead of the now normal 6 months to a year… Hardware would essentially boil down to how good your camera and charging speed is and we’re seeing this already! For most consumers you might see a lack of care for upgrading if the only difference is camera quality and fast charging, i mean why buy an Samsung Galaxy Simplicity or an Apple Smart (lets say they’re called that) if all the phones are identical and I know this is already happening with the likes of Apple making the IPhone X 3 times but it’s not to this extreme yet.

23. Software will be a HUGE difference between phones. All the bigger manifacturers are making their own echo system and their own special features. The software of phones will become more and more different as the time goes on.
