Incomplete information as if it is only 803 extra as per the example then why increasing 1000 why they are charging extra 197 which like you said if multiple with no of pcs sold then its extra profit they are earning i.e means they have increased their prices by saying that govt has increased the GST

  2. Bro actually the companies are raising prices in the name of GST you see if there is a phone at ₹14999 pre GST the old GST % is 12% . So the price will change to ₹15802.5 [( 14999 * 100 / 112)* 1.18] but the companies are selling at aroud ₹16000-₹17000 which is ridiculous. Both redmi and realme cheat here. But Samsung is the only company that hiked the price only with GST.

After this prolonged lock down economy will in a state where people will focus on daily essentials rather than smartphones trust me … Nobody gonna care resting aside the rich folks our country is made up not by thier ratio for the change … Ordinary people will not even care to … Trust me this lock down and the future lock downs ,,,, will make this company sales even worse….

    Note 8 pro (earlier selling for 14k) price increased by 2000 rupees!!

  6. Nobody knows profit of manufacturer .it might be from 5% to 500%. Country needs money in form of taxes.Really Govt is investing in 5G infrastructure.

  7. Nice initiative by government ?? companies are crazily launching phones around similar.
    After this pandemic there will be a huge decrease in demands of smartphones
