  1. I've been running android apps on Windows 10 for some time now via Blue Stacks. The apps run just like they would on my Android. It does this utilizing virtualization to create a virtual smartphone on your Google account. Nothing has been mentioned about Cortana (maybe because it sucks) So I hope that's gone. I think as far as searching and AI nothing beats Google Assistant…. so why not just give up and at least let me side load it? Time will tell.

  2. You can be forgiven for not following how Microsoft has acquired, blended, and rebranded products because they seem to relish confusing the hell out of everyone. Teams has some Skype code in it merged with a number of other products, specifically for Voice/Video etc. It's not stated officially anywhere, but Skype is going away. Teams is replacing Skype. It already replaced Skype for Business(which was really just an evolution of Lync Online). In any case, Microsoft is pretty intent on making Teams the nexus of their productivity platform for both consumers and business to take on Slack, Zoom, Google, etc who also blend their consumer/business collab services to push them into the enterprise organically. Did Microsoft get their $8B worth out of Skype? Doubt it although I bet their best finance people don't know the definitive answer to that question. Either way that's a sunk cost now and their branding people are busy thinking up even more confusing product names as we speak.

  3. In what universe is windows 10 better than 8.1? Just install classic menu in 8.1 and you're back to the Windows 7/XP GUI.

I'm hoping that ReactOS will finally get to beta soon so I can install it on my old 32bit x86 computers to run legacy Windows programs, otherwise I will be forced to use Linux + Wine.

  4. If Intel 8th Gen and higher is the final minimum hardware spec, Windows 11 will be a failure. What's the point in an OS that hundreds of millions of people can't use? And in 4 years those same millions will be dumped from Windows for good. It could become as a hackers dream and the least secure OS release ever.

  5. the only android app i wanna run in my pc is the steam guard app and google authenticator, because my phone seems to hate me and likes to disappear very often

  6. In case anyone didn't know, that whole widget thing sliding in from the left is taken directly from Microsoft Launcher for Android phones. They look and act exactly the same.

  7. Microsoft is going bust? Like enron lemen Bros,Intel,Boeing, microsoft this is either a failed company or about to fail. The most hacked operating system is now Apple,Android and now Microsoft. Like 737 Max windows 11 is a product extension of windows 7 which as you say will tank and take down the company. The operating system is so insecure no enterprise operator will use it outside a file wall and the ransome ware industry love it due to its outdated construction.

Microsoft has had a bright idea….they wont actually build anew operating system to compete with their competitors but stay with the outdated dinasaure and shift its remaining users to a subsciption model with a security chip which logs you onto a MS server to download your data everytime you use it for extra sales revenue. Secure the boot loader to prevent competition from all other software vendors breaching monoploy laws in the EU zone. Lockin disks also try to build an illegal industry monopoly of this failing product.

The EU and UK have indicated that windows 11 will not be used in the Euro zone as with Hawei its a threat to national security.

The EU UK have their own plans to promote their many more secure systems and hardware. Microsoft has held off the asian suppliers for soo long from using other more secure operating system by means of the monopolistic use of threats via their partnership programs.

The future….this will fuel Apple sales, accelerate the adoption of Linux and unix in enterprise. Where does this leave MS ? Around 28 % market share , SAAS on a data centre servers eventually to be only a hosting service for ASzure products to compete with AWS.

Does the shareholdes Know that revenue will tank and Ms will be broken up shortly before the company like intel and boeing goes to grass. This is capitalism distroying itself.Users know this product wont compete in the future. So your assumption is incorrect forget MS and move on to something better before you are pushed. Google is smiling with the launch of Fusion which it hopes will take MS users in droves.

  8. Windows 11 has one big problem why most people won’t be able to use it… it’s the system requirements.. just take a look at it. Other than that you need a security chip build into your pc which would be no problem but not even semi new pc have this kind of chip build in.. they have to lower the requirements or most people won’t even be able to use Windows 11

  9. I think it would be better if the android apps were downloaded from google playstore cuz many apps we use for work or entertainment need google play services to run

  10. Windows 11: 8th gen hardware and up, tpm 2.0 or it won't run on your hardware no matter the specs.

So regardless of features that makes it firmly 'not great.'
