  1. Precise & comprehensible evaluation, especially taking into account the ergonomics of the yoke "wheel" and its touch buttons!
The "muscle remap" idea hits the point.
    Good job!!

  2. Buttons on the Wheel for Horn, wipers and turn signals are just unsafe. They are Literally moving targets now of functions you will always want/need to use. Radio/phone controls are ok cause you will only use them when you are able to focus on using them. Usually when you are straight and can be attentive to them.

  3. I personally don’t like teslas, but that’s probably because I like hearing sounds coming from my car, and that usually comes from cars that burn liquid dinosaurs
Edit: I’m also one of those ppl who doesn’t like simple interiors, and I don’t like the lack of manual shifting, which plays into my disliking for Tesla more

  4. Someone at tesla have been watching F1 racing, they have like a yoke with 1 gazillion buttons. Joke aside I think Tesla have changed too much. I. like that they have a gauge cluster. But touch controls for forward and reverse is just stupid. A forward and reverse lever like BMW and a proper steering wheel with indicator stalks. People should not have to re-program when they go electric. Apart from that, its probably a nice car.

  5. Once I saw the steering wheels I hated it because I can imagine the accidents will happen when ordinary people start to drive it. If you are a gamer and you play F1 2021 using set of wheels that looks like this one then you good to go. I want my steering wheels to be circle. When I am chill driving I want my arm to rest on the wheels. Ordinary and every day people like me and you and the rest of the world should never drive this car with this set of wheels. Yes I am into tech and I'm future but this wheel is a fail. Tesla should give the buyers an option if they want this wheel on the car or the traditional one, The Circle. Seriously the steering wheels got me turned off and I can " see" horrible accidents that might occur due to the shape of the steering wheel. It is rectangle and the chance your hands to slip during sudden maneuver is very high.
In engineering school they tought us this : KISS, meaning Keep It Simple Stupid. Yup don't come up with unreal thing and kill people. Well this is my take brother Marques. I know Elon is your buddy, tell him what I just said and I hope tesla will do something about it ?
I am your fan from day one from Toronto Canada. Keep them coming, your work is appreciated and they are essential for those of us who are deeply in tech world. Good day/night and stay safe.

  6. Here's what i think. Like most of your viewers, we can only dream about a car like this and we would take it as is and we would never complain about anything ever ?

  7. The yoke exists as the final direction is one of self driving. No traditional steering wheel, as it's not not the future. I'd go as far to say that this is a forced move and it will be more common for newer 'high end' electric car out there, in the future. I'm talking a decade, not tomorrow. it will become clear over time as cars move to self driving. It's an important mental shift that is inherent in the change from wheel to yoke. It's formal and physical and both are required in order to make the mental shift hold in the mind. It may be a bit of a problem for all the other manufacturers as someone had to do it first and then – everyone else is a follower. So a game will be played, as this shift to yokes happens, where the other manufacturers talk about the importance of their traditional wheel. But that's just sour grapes and game playing, fishing for confidence in their issued electric vehicles. Partisan politics from companies who are used to being followed as they are the leaders. Well, not anymore….

  8. Isn’t it dangerous to have your arm across the steering wheel when making a turn? like if you crash couldn’t your arm get broken with the airbag exploding and your arm might also hit your face with the force of it.

  9. The horn is particularly bad if you have the wheel turned and have to press it quickly to alert a driver. So many bad UX choices in Teslas continue to make them pretty unappealing.

  10. the steering wheel is so dumb something this important should stay the same or like have little tweaks like easier steering or adding paddle shifters nothing more

  11. Steering wheel and touch buttons are not comfortable when you are driving, I remember I could send text messages without looking my phone and even when my phone was in my pocket before all phones remove numpads.
These touch buttons just make me slow in different situations.

  12. It’s hilarious that Tesla thought that steering “wheel” would be any good! I’ll keep my Taycan Turbo S, thanks.

  13. Michael Knight had no issues with a steering controller. Can they make the carputer screen a bit bigger? Its a little small.
