1. The only thing that Sony would have to do to sell these phones is just marketing them. Seriously, if Sony gave their phones a quarter of the ad time that Apple gives the iPhone, Motorola gives their phones and that Sony themselves gives to PlayStation's and PlayStation related products – sales would jump like ten-fold. I don't own the Xperia – I bought an iPhone 12 Pro Max because I wanted to see what iOS was like for once. Now that I know, next time I'm in the market, if I'm looking for something a little more off the beaten path and Sony was still making these, I'd totally go for it.

5. Probably because major tech sites and bloggers are paid to bash them, or perhaps Sony refuses to buy their support.

7. After owning an Xperia Z5 Premium years ago, I was converted. Bought the 1ii and love it so far

8. Sony should add a feature that works with a PS controller and plays PS5 games from the cloud and remarket their phones as the PlayStation phone

13. I buy Sony smart phones because it's the only phone brand that has survived being trampled by a crowd of people, dropped from numerous heights/angles. Samsung on the other hand cracks at the thought of being dropped. Same for iPhone. They are solid devices.

14. Now with the new Mark 3 sony just repeated their launching strategy. But I pre ordered a xperia 1 mark 3 because it is the only flagship with a flat screen, a headphone jack and a fingerprint sensor not build in the display. Everything I ever wanted for a flagship.

18. I love my Xperia XZ1, but now they don't even sell to Brazil anymore. I want a new Sony, but can't even find a newer Xperia to import (and when I have found one, from Germany, I'd just discovered that there is a 100% fee asked from Amazon to deal with the importation). The Xperia already is expensive, and a 100% fee turns it almost impossible to be bought in my country, where the USD/BRL (or EUR/BRL) ratio is already very prohibitive.

20. People mentality is cheap prices, the cheaper phones the more they buy phones and upgrade every year. It's like they want to collect budget phones.

23. My first bought phone was a sony z3 compact, ngl after i upgraded to other phones it didnt feel the same. Now since i need a new phone I went out and got this phone.

I'm 13 and my second phone was a Sony, waterproof, beautiful and i loved it, then BOOM my third phone Sony Xperia 10 ii, i love it with my heart and soul, and then there's my friend, saying that my phone sucks and that iphone works 100 times better, she has the newest Iphone 12 pro or something, and she tried to go to Google and… it doesn't open it as fast as my phone does, and she says MY phone is trash

29. Just changed my Huawei to Sony because end of Google support. And can say after few weeks that this looks really great phone. Didn't want Apple or Samsung cause hating the general thinking like those are the 2 only options… 😉

31. Xperia at 700€ every years, after 2/3 maybe 4 years it would be one of the most popular smartphone. Yes they will lose a loooooot but in the end, it doesn't even really matter.

33. Sony is actually a pretty amazing all rounder. They have play station, good phones, audio that will make you cry in amazement. I think we just want them to be even more daring in the phone and laptop region. Marcquess, if you don’t mind, could you talk to them about this, I mean they’ll listen to you better… probably… idk

34. It's crazy how you never see Sony phones being sold at dealers like Verizon or T-Mobile despite how good they are.

35. I used a lot of Sony Smartphones in the past. Never was dissapointed of them. Acutually I was forced to switch to Samsung but that was my biggest mistake… next one will be a Sony Smartphone again… I hope they dont die once a day
