3. Dead space had to have come out as a spin off, that way they could put all these new things in, without having to ruin the main plot, call it "Dead Space Origin" maybe

18. I just played them all back-to-back, and I think DS3 is the best one gameplay-wise. Just so much more varied and the weapons crafting adds a meta loop. It's a little less polished overall but on PC with max settings it looks like a 2020 game. I can't believe these reviewers were so harsh at the time.

20. I loved dead space 1 and 2. I beat them multiple times and also beat both of them on the hardest difficulty. On the other hand this game I couldn't even get passed the 1st half of it. Its a shame.

21. They praise the action and weapon modifications, effectively ignoring that DS3 lost the horror in the horror game and had been reduced to a modern warfare clone with undead foes. I wanted to love this game as much as the last two, but this game lost the original premise so completely it killed the series before we could get a solid conclusion.

24. It was a fantastic gaming despite all the bitching and moaning. I'm just sad they'll never make a sequel.

25. People talk about new gen consoles and all they want is backwards compatibility.. so what's the point???

26. The weapon crafting was cool i guess but the fact that all different weapons types shared the same ammo killed any and all tension during combat. Part of what made the first two games tense but really fun was ammo and inventory management.
