  1. I live in Australia, I have a food saver, it is arguably the most used utensil in my kitchen. However the food-saver bags cost in the amount of 60 p each and can only be reused a few times or once if a long term storage. I get 3rd party bags from Aldi and these are 1/4th the cost and beneficial over longer time frames. The rigid containers are a waste of money, closer to 10 pounds each

  2. That toast and bean thing is the most English thing I have ever seen. Lol. But couldn't one just use a microwave and toaster? Lol… o and those food savers are awesome af. Those things are great to store food for a long time. They actually work very good

  3. Lmfao. Just checked that pizza oven thing and it is out of stock and they don't know when or if ever it will be back in stock. Lmfao. Yup that sais it all. Lol

  4. I used to have the larger classic Foodsaver. It used the rolls of bag material and had a heat sealer built in. They work great for buying in bulk or cooking in large batches and then vacuum sealing in the needed amount for a meal. They also work well for sous vide cooking. I'd probably just get one of those. It meant never having freezer burnt meat. The containers were great for many things. It easily paid for itself.

  5. That massive gadget for beans on toast may be the most ridiculous thing I've seen.
I eat beans in toast sometimes but I'm one of those people who don't mind the beans cold.
Edit: oh it does eggs too. That makes it not as crazy. Though I would never buy one.

  6. People who have trouble opening jars need to return to elementary school and retake their physics class. The reason you can't open a jar isn't because it's too tight or stuck or whatever, but because the pressure inside the jar is much lower than outside, basically sucking on the lid. Just take a spoon or butter knife, pry on the lid a bit to let some air in and marvel in the miracle of physics.

  7. That food saver would be alot more attractive if the company decided to make a loss on the actual machine (sell it for a much lower price) and focused making money on the actual containers.

  8. I had the U.S. version of this Toast-n-Beans disaster! It didn't do beans; instead, you could make a homey version of a Micky D's Egg McMuffin (it also had a pre-cooked sausage patty warmer).

I used mine until it died. You Brits and your beans….

  9. First and third product are entirely frivolous and should not exist, what trash. Reminds me too much of the 90's and early 2000's where useless kitchen products were everywhere and nobody used them especially in American households where people had entire huge kitchens filled with trash they never used because they were too niche and only had one or two uses.
