  1. One useful use for this sort of thing is to get gang members to give up their affiliations. I think being stuck in there will make them want to give it up real quick.

  2. This guy said he didn't commit a crime, but, what about the other people that did? Think of the victims and their families. People don't just die when you hit them once. The torture the victim had to live through cause some psycho maniac decided it would be fun. This isn't torture, cause it doesn't cause physical pain like that of the victims. It should be eye for an eye…

  3. The people who say people in jail don’t deserve anything… should spend like 30 minutes in this room and just reevaluate their life

  4. I've got no sympathy whatsoever. When I was in the Navy on the aircraft carrier USS Enterprise, a personal space like that, with a little better paint job, was referred to as "the captains stateroom."

  5. I've done this a couple of times, it's no fun, and it's never quiet in these areas because everyone is on different sleep schedules

  6. Or you could just not do the crime that got you sent to prison in the first place. It really is just that easy.

  7. I think that this would be more effective without the commintator and make it about 10 minutes long, just playing background noise of screaming, crying, bad singing, doors slamming. Keys jingling It's those things and the not being able to make them stop that will drive you mad

  8. Back in the day the POWs who misbehaved or tried to escape would go to "the cooler". I've never been to jail–but that looks like pure torture.

  9. well i see a straight pipe above the bed… forget the bed, just hook your feet up to the pipe and hang upside down because you'll go batshit crazy in that room anyways

  10. Solitary confinement is evil! And to keep someone in that way for a long length of time, is pure torture! And the effects it could have on a person mentally, is disgusting that they still even use this treatment, but i believe its a controlling tool, i can only imagine what type of individual would want to inflict such horrible punishment, knowing the effects! Maybe they should take a closer look at that? As far as I’m concerned it should definitely be banned!

  11. Every single one of us, the second we get in a car, even stone sober and trying to obey all traffic laws, could end up in prison. All it takes is unintentionally causing an accident and especially if someone dies, the otherwise law-abiding citizen who would never break the law, is sitting in prison, maybe for many years….

  12. Don’t victimize this shit. There are also people in those boxes for killing their children, murdering an entire family in their own homes, molesting kids. This isn’t inhumane if the things we put in the boxes are worse than animals

  13. There should definitely be a time limit. No more than 5 to 7 days at a time and standardized protocol across the entire prison system should be drawn up and monitored by the Red Cross. That organization should have first allegiance to our own prisons. Also the length of sentences way too long here. Seems like everybody gets life without parole.

  14. Watching this from prison thinking of my brother doing life . I know I'm straight. Gonna make a big comeback for us both. I can't get em out but I can hold him down. Free the REAL FUCK THE SYSTEM

  15. I will not support the ACLU. Who are the most helpless people on Earth? The unborn. The ACLU supports unrestricted abortion. Maybe it's because the unborn don't have any MONEY!

  16. Prison could and should be a safe environment as it is in most industrialized countries. But our prisons are quickly becoming profit centers of peoples' misery. Our prisons make people who have made a mistake into criminals. Our incarceration rate is among the highest in the world; obviously what we are doing isn't working. We should be ashamed.

  17. lets get tough on crime. you cant kill other peoples and live in luxury in prison, get fed and watch tv.
and even worse play with your ganster friends in the yard.
