  1. I have this game on both pc and quest, the game is ported to quest REALLY well. While the visuals may be very slightly worse, it’s barely noticeable while you’re making a mad dash away from the wall.

  2. Spot on review Mike. There was a time when single player and multiplayer modes were the foundation of a game on release. We need to stop buying these uncompleted games or it'll be a model software developers on the Quest move forward with. Hopefully this won't happen. We do have the next PSVR headset to look forward to and going by Sony's comments re their game strategy we will get the full games we all want in VR. I just hope we get them on the Quest 2 as well.

  3. i love this game, picked it up yesterday. but it keeps freezing for 2 seconds at some parts which really kills your momentum. hope they sort that out in a future patch

  4. Actual Parkour person here: I think that I would enjoy this 500% more if it were almost EXACTLY like Mirror's Edge. As in, button presses for up and down movements, head tracking obviously, but hand presence only for shooting and climbing, and actually using physics and momentum. Because right now, it doesn't look like your jump distance has ANY relation to how fast you're moving, and the wall-runs look like there isn't anything keeping track of the what the character's feet are meant to be doing and the relationship between that and your momentum and gravity. Without this I don't think it really captures what doing parkour is really like. So this would detract a lot from the immersion for everyone who knows better.
Let me know if I'm wrong, as I'm only judging from the video!

Basic Parkour things that seem completely absent: -Rolls (essential)
    -laches
    -catleaps
    -jumps from cat leap position
    -balancing
    – tic-tacs (not the mints)
    – any and all vaulting techniques other than kongs and speed vaults

  5. The game freezes up on me when I play it. It happens at the beginning of a course at the first jump and continues throughout the course. I get the black screen on the sides and frame rate freezes. Anyone else experience this ?

  6. My quest 1 is starting to wear down with the controllers having a lot of tracking issues and the cameras appearing black on the play area. A lot of the games freeze up while playing it it just ruins the experience. Do you think it would be worth it to upgrade to the quest 2 now or should I wait for a quest 3 or pro?
