9 New Sports Cars that Will Make the 2022 Model Year Even More Exciting

Today we will tackle the topic of upcoming sportscars featuring models from various subclasses and price ranges. #1 2022 BMW 2-Series Coupe

The second generation 2-Series already exists as a 4-door fastback, but for 2022, it is being released as the original 2-door coupe. To the delight of the fans, 2022 BMW 2-Series Coupe does not take the same design route at the new 4 Series, but it does acquire better proportions, growing in length by 4.3 inches and sitting 1 inch closer to the ground.

#2 2022 Lotus Emira

The last Lotus ICE car is preparing to take the market by storm with Evija-inspired styling, Evora’s bonded aluminum chassis, and yet unseen pricetag under 60,000 pounds. Positioned as the brand’s sole global sportscar, the Emira gives out an exotic vibe, featuring a muscular rear end, large 20inch wheels, unique exit air vents, and LED headlights with wind-shaped design.

After a failed attempt to find a sports car that would fit his personal preferences in 2014, the British entrepreneur Robin Wells began secret development of the retro-inspired mid-engine coupe with an affordable price tag. The Vertige rides on a stiff steel monocoque chassis.

#9 2022 Alpine A110 by Felipe Pantone and Legende GT Limited Edition

This year brings 2 limited editions for the Alpine 110: the first, designed by the Argentinian artist Felipe Pantone gets an ultra-dynamic paintwork, while the second is a re-introduced A110 Legende GT with 300 units.

  1. A 4-door VW econo box? A Sports Car used to be a 2-passenger automobile designed for quick response, easy maneuverability, and high-speed driving. I guess now days you can call anything a sports car. And of course the real sports car ~ the Z ~ does not even make this list!?
