  1. The energiser phone might have made more sense if the had kept the battery time down to 30 days, which is the time some insurance companies will only cover you for to be away from home anyway. But I'm seriously impressed with the way the Google Pixel 4a sips at the battery, so they really needed to work for more efficiency as well as more battery, then put it in a form factor with a rugged case that people who like hiking and other outdoors pursuits would be happy to pay out for.

  2. No, what Blackberry really missed out on was using their users data to leverage value for a massive income stream, something Apple and Google do to make a lot of money, having ethics is a terrible idea in this market.

  3. Why did Energyzer do a Kickstarter anyway? It's not like they don't have money already.

As for the phone itself, why not just get a normal phone and a big battery pack? You know, like normal people?

  4. That Energizer phone should have aimed for a week of charge instead of 50 days. It wouldn't have been as bulky then and who needs 50 days of charge?

  5. Implement vs execution? clearly thesaurus. This one is getting a 3/10 for me. Who became complacent? Well, they just never arrived. The mighty google does not always deliver their emails categorisation filters properly too. I will give them 09/10 fail rating.

  6. I got the LG G6+ in 2017. It is an awesome phone. It was such a good phone that I got one for my mum too!
I was going to upgrade in 2019 and again in 2021 but I could not work out which phone was their new flagship because of how they name their phones. LG could have sold my mum and I another 4 phones in the last 5 years. Now LG are gone.
    😭

  7. is it weird that I actually want that energizer p18 phone? it's a phone, a powerbank, and can be used as a weapon. thing looks heavy enough to knock someone out cold

  8. My LGV10 was not only a battery hog (3 2800ma batteries a day/, but the software froze and overheated so many times that after the second motherboard I was done.
