3. Hi i took my 720p camera off my shadow drone and got the wifi board out because with my new Akaso v50x camera mount on i got my wifi back so my cell phone data is back i can see all data .

4. Yes you can replace the camera I did it , to bad that they don’t make a FLIR camera for it or I,d have one . I,ve did so many mods on this , i installed a better antenna for longer range like 900 feet I can almost push it to 1000 feet but I lose signal , added a better camera & camera gimbal now my camera gos up down left right & 360 , put lighter more powerful brushless motors on it , it made it faster by about 15 MPH , I put a new more powerful & lighter battery in it using the on / off switch & battery cage that came with it just finished installing clear inserts for the lights / I,m thinking about installing different color lights as well just don’t know what color yet & I was thinking about installing a servo on it but I have no clue what I,d use it for . If you want to spend the money for the upgrades it’s worth it like $170 bucks that’s what I spent but i have a friend who works at a hobby store that got me a big discount for the stuff I needed or else it would have costed me like $320 bucks . The only thing you can fix yet is the ceiling height & that’s because it was built into the mother board I wish that the company that makes it would tell use how to take that off because flying at 500 feet sucks .

8. Since you have gone this far into the wiring I have a question, I don’t use the photo function but wanted to build a drop release mechanism with an open close servo. I just need some way to engage it and was thinking I could tap into the wire to the camera that is used to take the pictures so when I hit the photo button on the remote the service opened to release the line( planning on using for surf fishing )

9. This is actually a very good idea mike but have you figured out how to add an action camera and still get the telemitry and fpv? Do you have a video on it?

10. Hiya, I have a SJRC S70W with a Wifi issue on the default camera. I have data but no image. Therefore I bought a new camera for this drone, 1080P this time, but I cannot even see its WIFI at all, so basically its useless. Any chance you would know if there is some trick with these annoying things? thanks very much

13. Has anyone tried changing the video TX antenna on the camera with a pigtail connector and sma antenna ?. Wonder if there is a reason why it’s not being done. You Should have enough coax with a pigtail connector to still mount a sma antenna out the way and still have enough coax slack to adjust the camera movement.

16. That looks like the action cam mount from the bugs 3. Does it fit well and snug in the promark notch? I have the same one so was curious to try it.

18. I love this drone it flies Awesome and great distance all works well but was wondering is there a way to improve wifi distance of stock camera it freezes at fairly short distance

20. I contacted promark about removing the camera and if that would affect drone functions. here's their reply. You don't have to tear the camera apart.

    The Wifi is actually part of our cameras and only serves the purpose of connecting your phone to the live video feed. All of the GPS functions (follow me/auto land/return to home) will not be affected by changing out the camera.

22. That white stuff around the antenna connector, is that glue? And if so, do you know if it might be easily removed so you can change the connector on the board? Perhaps very carefully with a soldering iron?

26. Mike. I’m a new subscriber and have a promark gps drone. I can get the video on my Apple tablet but not on android phone. It’s a meotorola moto 4 e. I have tried removing it and reloading it several times. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. Great channel by the way. CharlieB
