Riders Republic Review - The Final Verdict

What Riders Republic lacks in depth it more than makes up for in variety.

  1. I love this game. The best part of this game is the social aspect. If you play it alone, it's kind of meh. If you have friends and challenge them to events, participate in the creative mode with the community, or just be wacky at the home base, it's amazing.

  2. The biggest problem with this game and most other games is micro transactions. But of course it's not a big deal to you. The rest of the game is fantastic, unlike this horrible review.

  3. It's literally the only game of it's kind and it's great. Exploration in the game is far from being measure. It felt like the whole time GamingBolt was trying to compare it to something it's not then bashing it because it doesn't measure up to games that are really apples and oranges in comparison. I'm not saying this game is a 10, but it deserves better than this review video portrayed.

  4. Disagree with the backtrack feature. If used correctly and quickly enough in a race it can save you and it is a great feature when trying to learn a specific trick

  5. This focus on the racing aspect in comparison to, I'm guessing, Forza or NFS is giving a bad impression of the game. I don't feel like a 7 is deserved at all tbh. And the whole "mediocre graphics" without touching on the actual size of the map and the fact that the graphics aren't mediocre really lost a lot of credibility here.

  6. Great game, shit review.

The reviewer seems like he has never done an extreme sport in his life.

If you genuinely enjoy Skiing, Snowboarding, Biking etc, in real life, you will love this game.

  7. My verdict on this review: lacking. I rewatched after the summary, but what the "real" problems? You tell of general stuff missing. But .. what is that? Is it so hard to have someone play the game and honestly telling what was fun and what wasn't? This clearly felt like: I looked into the game. I did not really get into it. I didn't even consider using manual for everything because I might accidently discover some actual depth.

Accessibility is a good feature. A very easy learning curve is as well. Online competetion will mean there will be people and their ghosts to beat for even the most hardcore of players for what likely will be quiet some time.

Now on a critic of mine that I do explain in detail: If you say depth is lacking, make examples. Like: specific tires being harshly effected by weather and terrain conditions, when your tires are wet you might still have bad grip on a road surface etc. – because if this is something that you, as a reviewer would have missed and substracted points for – fine.

Now for where the game might actually suck for a lot of players: story and introduction (because of story). Why wasn't there any comment and the stupidity of story sequences or even worse, those smartphone video scenes on the map you couldn't even skip? I wonder why there wasn't even a comment on this :/

  8. Thanks clown for the review. To everyone else, the control on this game are complete ass. Everything doesnt feel smooth or responsive to play, and the fact the performance is dog fucking shit on a 6900xt while looking like a ps3 game, is not acceptable. Dont be fooled by this idiot reviewers . Have a nice day : )

  9. I've tried many racing games over the years and was never hooked on any of them until Riders Republic. I think it's for the reasons you've described in this video. It's light-hearted, sometimes silly, not too technical, and really a lot of fun. Now I just need to convince some of my friends to get it too. Thanks for the review.

  10. Like COD Vanguard, don't bother to purchase if you're an offline gamer. You only get a small portion of the game if you don't have a reliable internet connection. Paying full price for part of a game not including micro-transactions, poor form and incredibly greedy of game companies!

  11. A lot of things wrong with the review, wonder if GamingBolt have actually played it long enough haha, or at all? 😛 from what I noticed playing, the game has the same trick system as SSX, minus certain bar filling elements, with each class having its own tricks, put into sub categories, Ps4 & XboxOne are 24 players, Ps5 / XbS is 64 players (Mass races) btw team up online with friends is 6 players, not 5 just a heads up. Also on next gen the 64 player races sometimes show screentearing, but it clears up. Playing it for atleast 40 hours, it crashed 4x on my Ps5. I heard mediocre graphics, but I wonder if we played the same game, on next gen it looks really nice, with loads of little details.
    Now hire me GamingBolt

  12. This game would have been great if it focused more on it's single player aspects just like Forza Horizon series. The rewind mechanic then would also make a lot of sense. But one loses hope when talking about Ubisoft.
