  1. If you got 100+ hours out of it then it can't be that bad. It's 10 times longer than the average videogame for the same asking price

  2. how is New World is any way even slightly like a 'hardcore survival game' gathering stuff for crafting is not the core element of a survival game. that would be, you know the survival aspect

  3. The fact that the review didn't even mention the game breaking exploits that allowed for infinite gold, invincibility, and crashing someone else's' computer seems sus to me.
    The entire game is built on a system where other players can directly change the server world and other players game clients through simple exploits.
    Whlie some of the specific ones have been patched out, the core system still remains present, making New World essentially just straight up malware, waiting for someone smart and evil enough to send more nefarious actions and code to your computer.
