You might have noticed that cars around us are getting bigger with each year. In our opinion, this is rather strange since all of the statistics show, that the majority of the time people drive alone, at best with a companion next to them.
So why would auto manufacturers want to waste resources? Cars should be getting smaller! And it seems that visionaries of electric vehicles understand this idea and come up with rather interesting tiny designs, that might become a usual thing on the roads in the future. In this episode we collected 10 of the smallest electric cars that exist today.

The Morgan? I can't afford a toy at that price!
your videos thumbnail with a roof is my idea of a perfect ev , that with autonomous driving , not fully autonomous just the autonomy the already have today is plenty, the car at the start with the 09 on it.
In a world with lifted pickup trucks and SUV'S. Driver's roof the will forget these little micro machines will be run over. It had occurred in Los Angeles area co workers neighbor did this and went to jail. He gunned it at the green light.
Damn, when are they going to make something that can handle more than a well cleaned road ? As interesting as they are, I think most of them would be about useless in an inch of snow. I appreciate the small size, but it's like the designers decided to pretend that seasons didn't exist.
The bigger the car the more you can do with it. I personally would like a single seat cigar shaped car for myself and a minivan with a simple powerful ice engine for the family, but as most people can't afford both unless it's buy one get one free, automotive production is geared towards the most utility for the largest customer base and so, will produce larger and more universally practical vehicles. I love tiny cars but let's face it they can't be produced cheap enough to be anything more than play things for the rich.
What a waste of time none of these vehicles are available, not only at the prices mentioned, but not at all.
Ugly
I NEED more power than all these have! Ultra light very fast but I would be satisfied with 200 mile range …Something about the size of a Miata I think …holding out for what I need ….willing to pay 30kish or more for the right ride
I would never buy a car associated with that prick edison. Hey was a p.o.s that stole others ideas.
t seems to me that that ALL electric vehicles should come with two convenient interchangeable batteries, one supplying the power while the other is on charge.
The helmet is necessarily if driving the Ampere because you won't be recognizable
0:55 "Hey, I got new car!"
"What is it then? … Oh, I see! you got yourself an electrified bonnet of a 90ies Miata! Now THAT'S something…"
The Ego looks good.
The Mocrolino is basically an electric drive P50.
Check my latest Hyundai Kona Electric video. Run and get the car. Maybe the best value for money EV? English version 👍https://youtu.be/7Pibt88iiyU
Yes we need small cars but Tesla 3 nutters and Musk won’t listen. Tesla 3 5 people . I want a Uniti one
An electric scooter is a much cheaper alternative to those wannabe "cars"
What they fail to mention for the Sondors is that in California as it's classed as a motorcycle you'd have to also wear a helmet even if it has a roof.
P.9 the only cool car, the rest is rubish!!
I like the Sondors EV the best but at the rate he's bringing it to market other manufacturers are going to have their products to market before he does.
8:05 I sat in this car in the showroom in Vancouver, BC; will have to wait until my next visit to test-drive it, though.
https://vimeo.com/303417459 Another one to check out.
Sondors for me please…
Do you have to wear a helmet on those 3 wheels
Sonder looks like the best option, don't want to sit in a bubble
That Microlino looks like BMW Isseta
Way to many commercials showing information that is already available elsewhere with fewer ads. I'm out.
Dont knows if this was said but the sondors is a front wheel drive vehicle, not a rear wheel drive
Bubble cars were fazed out in the 60s because of the rise in accidents lorries were getting bigger & Could not see the small bubble cars ? & of course then with the launch of the Mini car so small but 4/5 seater people were opting for this up and coming style icon !
So I cannot understand these small cars – That have a even more dangerous feature no sound ! -They are silent -These O.a.ps or deaf people are at more Risk ???
I can get away with one seat but two is better. I need 150 miles round-trip and a radio with locked doors. Nothing more.
