  1. I bought one Aug 4, 2013 and it is already dead. Techs say that it has a cracked screen (after under two weeks of minimal use with no drops or hits) after I sent it to Sony store to find out why the charging craddle wont charge while USB will and screen won't respond at all.
DO NOT BUY THIS THING. THE FULL WARRANTY IS CRAP. Did not even live to test out waterproofness which is why I bought this expensive thing to begin with.

  2. Is the display good enough? becuase i'll be using this for media purposes.
i looked at the xperia z phone's display and it looks horrible.

  3. I wonder how this would work with stock android installed. The form factor and the hardware specs are good. The lag definitely comes from the software.

  4. … No I didn't really have any lag issues. I think you are right when you assume it's due to software issues. My biggest issue with the tablet Z is its battery life, for heavy use I need to recharge once a day and it is around 9 hours to fully charge the battery 6000 mha battery

  5. I own one of these and my conclusion is it is packed with several amazing features such as waterproof resistance, av remote control, sleek and sexy" design, many of which premium tablets lack. As for lag, I did experience some lag with the stock Google Chrome browser as I'm sure

  6. Hi Niels, thanks for your feedback. We're glad to hear you're enjoying your new purchase! 🙂 Have you experienced any lag at all? It looks like it only affects some devices…

  7. Watching this video on my tablet Z it just shines 😀 I compared it with the nexus 10 before buying and it and both devices perform more or less equally. The Nexus has the better speakers, the Z the better color/contrast level and the brava engine 2 software makes it the better device for media consumptions. Again by a margin. The Ipad is also a great high end tablet if you don't bother the very limited user functionality, ITunes and the 4 by 3 screen ratio that shrimps or eats your picture
