The End of Gasoline Supercars: 10 Best Hybrid Electric Vehicles that Redefine Performance

The internal combustion engine has been perfected by engineers for more than 2 centuries and frankly speaking it is very close to reaching its peak potential and hitting the wall in terms of further development.

However, there is a way to make improvements to an almost ideal ICE powertrain, and that is by paring it with a battery and an electric motor. This hybrid system ensures superior efficiency, instant torque, power boosts and purely electric driving. Here we are showing top 10 hybrid supercar models, which have benefited from symbiosis with electric motors the most and managed to show remarkable performance.

  1. You included the I8 but not the NSX, a 2.9 sec supercar for 160K. Honda should have built in Italy under an Italian name and charge 500K for it, they would have sold more.

  2. Yea they need to get on the ev train. All this obsession with noisy and stinky and expensive gas cars that break down so frequently is weird. I used to love these cars as a kid and idolize these car makers. Now I just want a tesla. It’s luxuriously quiet and fast as hell, faster than all these cars acceleration, plus way less breakdowns and maintenance.
