  1. I don’t get it. You have the apple headphones too. Why not compare the two with 1. Music quality and 2. Noise cancellation between the two.

  2. Never really cared for noise cancelling or annoying features my next phone will be a experia with a headphone jack so ile be using these on thatband if the phone struggle to get them at a decent volume level ile be getting a helm volume booster alongside a better headphone cable silver dragon cable just to get more from these headphones anyway

  3. wearing them on an airplane though, wow that would made me so afraid !
    simply due to radiation…
i mean there are people who wonder if bluetooth alone can harm us, and it's actually known that when being on an airplane you ARE being exposed to ionizing radiation.

  4. they are the industry leading in having a ticking sound in one ear cup 😉
seriously, both the XM3 aswell as the XM4 had this issue…
i was so excited to get XM4's but i've had tho pair ans the both had this issue.
online i saw that this is a very well known issue with these so i just went for the Bose 700's instead

  5. Do the XM5s have some sort of 3D audio or spatial audio feature like the airpod maxs? I will never turn that feature off I’m obsessed with spatial audio

  6. I don't know if you'll see this but you mentioned at 4:30 how the earpads on the xm5's are stuck in place

The earpads on the xm4's are held in with clips and I believe they are meant to be removable. There is a 3rd party market for replacement pads, I'm not sure off the top of my head if Sony sells replacement pads first hand. I'd want to see someone do a teardown video in order to get an idea as to how they approached this on the xm5's but if I had to guess, I'd assume it's something similar.
