  1. Not sure if mini 3 pro is different. hand launching my dji drones, i just put it on the palm of my left hand. Extend my left arm press the take off on the screen and it takes off and hover on its own.

  2. If you put the Emergency Propeller Stop in the EMERGENCY ONLY mode, and the drone it's in the air, if you have a regular flight and you accidentally move the sticks to the Emergency Stop position it can actually stop the propellers? Or only when it's a really emergency? Who decides about when it's actually an emergency? Thanks for the video!

  3. I just got this drone and this video was incredibly helpful! Thank you for taking the time to go through some of the do's and don'ts with the Mini 3. Great channel, subbed!

  4. Wait does "toss up" launching not work? With the Mini 2, if you're holding it with props spinning and gently toss it up, it automatically takes off. Does the Mini 3 not offer this feature?

  5. I was just looking through the user manual and it says that Host port (USB-C) on the controller is for connecting a dji cellular dongle which will be supported later through firmware updates 👍

  6. Another great video Matthew. Very helpful tips. I live on a large boat so I have become quite adept at hand launch and recovery. I've found it much easier to hold the drone in one hand and just press the take off button on the screen with the other hand.

  7. Good morning Matthew very informative video once again what would you recommend doing to put your license number for the drone on it and whereabouts would you put it.

  8. If you’re travelling on a boat then the best setting for lost connection would be to tell the drone to just hover so you then can return or get nearer to it.

  9. Someone’s been working hard! Appreciate all that you do. Very helpful video as always. I’m very much thrilled to apply everything I learned from you once I get my Mini 3 Pro.

  10. Also, bad bird advice, matey… NEVER, EVER dive when attacked by birds. they can follow you and many times they will even race you if they think the drone is a bitd… especially if they're in flocks to boast themselves to the other birds. birds do stupid stuff like that. instead, climb ASAP. muscles cannot compete with motors at that particular task. whoever is higher in the sky has the upperhand, ALWAYS!

  11. waaaaait, so you can't start the motors and throw the drone anywhere in the air and it will hover?!? what BS 😱 that's was the coolest thing of the previous version. stupid idiots. deal breaker right there. I ONLY handlaunch, ONLY! Tired of warnings about magnetic sand grains from the floor getting attracted and lodged inside the motors till the rotor jams.

  12. I just had a close encounter with a seagull, it seems that seagulls are the birds most prone to attack drones.
I was flying on a garden where I live which is a bit far from the sea (more than 20 km away) and about 3 km from a wide river. Despite this sometimes there are seagulls around and they make their nests in high places like the church.

I started earing the seagull going in circles over the Mini3 and I went to another part of the garden where I wanted to test the OA. I took off and the drone and as it was about 1,5 m from the ground the seagull came and almost hit the drone. I immediatelly landed the drone and finished my test flights. When I was leaving I saw the seagull up on a building ledge looking around. So isn't only next to the coast that seagulls can be a problem for drones.

I week earlier I was flying my Mini1 and let it hover over a pool when I realized that it started descending. I moved it out of the pool and it stayed hovering. This is a situation that beginners need to know. I managed to stop the descent because I was aware that it could happen and I was looking at the app.
