  1. It's fine to just release a new entry. It's been long enough that younger gamers haven't even been exposed to this series. A pretty new entry that "plays it safe" is perfectly fine. No need to reinvent the wheel with this one.

  2. Surprised it doesn’t say “reviewed with PlayStation 5” in the description

Ik it’s a switch only game bc it’s Mario that’s not the joke

  3. This game isn't being safe. It's being cheap. Adding more content wouldn't risk anything. Not playing it safe means you're changing something substantial

  4. They surely played it safe. The first two games had that mid 2000's "edgy" personality, which might not fit Nintendo's modern standardisation. Don't know how to express it, but back in the N64 and GCN eras, each SM game had it's own very distinctive art-style.
    Now, they seem to convey.

  5. Been playing training for the last like hour, dang this is fun

And no, angry Mario characters are back which means they aren't playing it too safe.

  6. Looks a million times better and, more importantly, ENJOYABLE than any FIFA game since the ‘14-‘15 entry.👌🏽👏🏽

  7. Honestly it may seem lacking in some parts with modes and characters but this is the only game I'm excited for in June, and the Cuphead DLC release date of June 30th could be delayed.
