  1. Exactly you spoke it, not exactly the dot pattern but at least to choose particular led light for particular app like the right corner for text msg the middle one for email. That will be so handy.

  2. I honestly can't understand why the company would be called nothing. I would think it's quite a bad name. Like you associate it with nothing, which isn't very fantastic. And the puns that come about from it really makes it look bad.
It could have been something. Anything. But nothing is the worst than nothing itself.

  3. I think nothing is more of a hardware company, than a phone company. They should partner with apple to make an iPhone with the Nothing hardware. Or even Sony to make a Nothing PS5. The aesthetics would be crazy !

  4. Isn't what Apple was almost all about in the past? distinctive user experience and distinctive design but average performance.
I guess it's a good road to take, because we all know where Apple is right now!

  5. maybe in like a year, they could swap out those led's for rgb's, add a more powerful chipset and call it the "gamer edition" 😂😂🤣

  6. Honeslty, very solid phone overall but I am curious about the Pixel 6a. Obviously they are being sold in totally different markets with Pixels mostly being in the US and kind of the Indian market and the Nothing Phone being for the EU but I really think Google comes out ahead of this phone. The approach is identical to Googles original Pixel, focus on something unique and do well at that, even if that forces other areas to lack. Google after 6 years refined the methods to catch up on hardware and other lacking areas so I hope the Nothing Phone get's some better hardware with newer cameras, boosted performance and 6 years, or less, from now it will be a similar all-round to the Pixel. Right now, the Pixel and iPhone seem to stand way ahead if you want that nice clean software and very solid hardware + performance.

  7. Yeah considering the big deal Google made accurately capturing the skin tone of people of color on the Pixel 6 and you would think Nothing would at least try to make an effort but it doesn't look like it in the sample pictures you showed.

  8. The selling machine at full power…
Amazing video production, audio, direction, every detail, colors, clothes, places…
Everything to sell a phone by creating Artificial Hype, maybe tech selling channels are Carl Pei's close friends?…

  9. Love the attention to detail on the phone. But i wouldn't consider the lights a feature because they're so situational. All the info they provide is accessible by keeping ur upside up. And even if it wasn't it's not a big deal. They're creating a feature and selling the need

  10. Had this been a Nokia phone, reviews would have said to high price for what you get. I look at it as a wish iphone with in wish standards flagship specs.
