You guys always crack me up when you try to make it sound like aviation is inexpensive and within reach of most people and they are not. When you say things like, "$150 thousand dollars is comparable to the price of a luxury automobile" for instance; well believe it or not the vast majority of people can not afford to drive a luxury automobile. For all too many people who would love to fly their own plane and yet the priorities they have place plane ownership out of the picture. Everything that isn't a necessity is a luxury that requires sacrifice but providing for one's family properly cannot be neglected to own an aircraft. Having "$200,000 extra" is like a cruel joke for the average person.
The only ''affordable'' airplane for me would be a paper plane. Not on this list.
