Really cool tech that I just don’t see real use case for outside of tiny artistic angles spliced into something. I just don’t see how this is a “main” camera outside of maybe automotive sports? It beats a GoPro when it comes to composition but then the quality isn’t quite there in comparison to a traditional lens/sensor setup of current action cams. 360° 5.7k is pretty different from your typical 3840×2160 (“4K”) resolution doing a side by side. Would love to see a 360° cam that you can lock off an angle and that view be at least UHD and indistinguishable to say a GoPro/action cam of the month THEN I think it has mainstream appeal.
I have the insta 360 one r combo version. it is the 1st modular action camera in the world, pretty good and fun to use

I just grabbed the 360 Link (webcam). First 360 brand camera and I must say it is impressive.
Very cool camera! I just don’t see the practicality of this camera really. Like why do I need access to every single angle if you can just film the angel you want?
This camera has been super popular in NYC’s street racing scene!
Great review, I've used insta360s for a while. One other thing I'd mention as a slight negative, or at least warn users: it's very easy to scratch a lens (or 2), so make sure you use the rubber lens cover as soon as you're not using it.
