  1. I don't want to have anything to do with Facebook / Meta. It's bad enough that they prioritize profits over user wellbeing, and I don't even use their services now. Why would I want to subject myself to their immoral incendiary-content-promoting, echo-chamber-amplifying algorithms in their metaverse?

  2. For virtual fun & immersive learn is ok. Why would you buy virtual property for millions but can't live in it? How can it be tangible asset when you can't hold it, drive a yacht finished luxury car, feel water when you dive into the sea?

  3. wait, VR Chat ain't Zuck's Metaverse, what are you trying to convey? unmoderated online sessions with modding enabled will ALWAYS results in what you saw because the audience in VR Chat is the weebs that like those kind of things. this is equivalent to vising a random bar and gets mad because you got into a nude bar, smh

  4. What do you think about the current crypto market? Should you invest in it? And GameFi projects are entering the metaverse a lot. Take the DeFi Warrior project, for example. They are also entering the metaverse, and will be releasing a testnet in the near future.

  5. Personally not a fan of the Metaverse. Imagine, dating in the Metaverse, having work meetings in the Metaverse…. having sex in the Metaverse?!! Now how about just plugging into the Metaverse and it becoming an addiction because virtual reality is better than actual reality …having the Metaverse eventually customised to all your needs and wants and desires? I see so many possible red flags and even why this can fuel mental health issues. Definitely do not want to be controlled or plugging into the Metaverse. Interested into reading more comments with regard to your own opinions.. 🙂

  6. you people did not explore actual issues like how this is the continuation of corporations to make us own nothing and attempts to have complete control over you, like instead of buying real clothes now, you're just buying virtual clothes, and it can be taken from you in an instant cause you agreed to their terms of service, anybody's who been on any platform knows that moderations are not on a level playing field, you'll have meta employees with their own biases playing god with your fate in the metaverse without any transparency or applying the same rule to everyone

  7. This seems like one of those reports to scare older people; particularly the bit about the guy "following" you room to room. You'd visited social worlds where you spend time with people, and you had added him as a friend… If you're uncomfortable with anything you simply block, don't friend, or tell them. By friending you imply you WANT to interact…I guess this stuff is just too new for a generation that knew a time before the internet.

  8. trillion dollars? yea well, you need a governing body that countries participating agree to adhere to its regulations and criminal system which just like the real world, actions will have consequences so that business can operate in. If not all you attract are the ones that you might not want them to stick around in your metaverse

  9. Sky Children of the light is my current metaverse. It's one to look into, if you haven't already. It can be found as a free app with in app purchases which are optional.
