  1. Long talk, none usuable content, my AW 4 was heavely scratched after 2 weeks by getting in contact with walls and doors when I touched them whlile passing. Even cheap watches for less than 50 $ have saphire glas. No reason for Apple to charge a couple of hundred $. Will get the AW 6 now, but will have to surrender to scratches.

  2. Just y’all know.. I just bought the Apple Watch series 5 stainless steel Milanese and the Milanese band is of course stainless steel as well. It doesn’t scratch the screen of course because of the Safire crystal but it DEFINITELY SCRATCHES THE SIDES!!! DO NOT LET THAT BAND TOUCH YOUR WATCH!!!! I wouldn’t even recommend this band after that.. two days later and the sides of my $850 watch is freakin SCRATCHED!! I had to order another one except with the sport band this time because I’m so OCD about scratches… ugh 😠

  3. Can you do a scratch test on the Apple Watch series 4 SS model? I have owned my black Stainless Steel with the Milanese loop for less than 24 hours and the back is already scratched.

  4. I'm sorry, but just use a really good quality screen protector. Activity watch sellers should sell screen protectors with the product.

I just put one on my Pebble Time from 2015, and it's pretty as a picture again. Interestingly, you CAN see the original scratches when you peel off the old protector, but you can't see them with the protector on it. It's like some kind of strange magic.

And, oh, how would a real user get sandpaper across their smartwatch? Seriously? Somehow I doubt that. In a woodshop or building site, you'd likely have the watch covered and heavily protected when near sandpaper.
