  1. If you went back in time to 2000 and told people the title of this video. They would think you were on something. Man, we live in an amazing technological time

  2. Vice: They are "Trolls" who harass users!

umm…dude its a videogame, people play it to be free and be themselves to laugh about, Some people use videogame to relief stress. its a virtual world ffs, dont make it sound as if its a "Bully documentary".

  3. Hi there,

Great video! To my fellow commenters does anyone know how they recorded the VR portions of this interview while they were sitting? There was even camera movement which you can't do with the regular stationary avatar camera. If anyone could tell me I would greatly appreciate it!

  4. Dude what is this? I love Syrmor a ton, but ur totally painting what he does in a bad light. He doesn't care about mobs of Knuckles running around and being ridiculous cuz that's the internet, he's not being harassed. And stop making it sound like Vr chat is some kind of "toxic" world of Nazis. It's just ppl goofing off as memes and anime characters. Man I hate Vice

  5. Calling it "stereotypical imitations of African people" is lazy and for the uninformed it would seem as if it was meant to be offensive, but Ugandan people (those that were being stereotyped) found it hilarious and non-offensive too. It's not racist just because you imitate someone who is black, woke Vice.

  6. I'm a small VRChat creator (youtube videos, making maps for youtube videos) so I play quite frequently on the weekends. I feel like.. VRChat (and probably my youtube too) allows me to be my pure unadulterated self.. albeit a bit exaggerated.

VRChat gets a bit of a bad rap.. and the surface is kind of crusted over with 9 month old memes. But VRChat has so many good creative funny people in it that are willing to help you follow your dreams. So many people that are willing to just listen.

  7. That's pretty dumb calling Ugandan Knuckles racist. It's just a meme based on Ugandan cinema, it's not racist at all. That would be like calling, "The Room," memes racist, like, "Oh, hi Mark."

  8. I love how you dubasses at Vice "news" have not dedicated a video to the Amazon rainforest fires. Rather, have dedicated your time and resources to something so important, like VR, because the Amazon rainforest has 0 value to the overarching ecosystem of the world. PRIORITIES. Btw, this is at least the 8th time I have posted about the issue at hand.

  9. A stupid meme and kids trying to be edgy is perpetuating "the worst of vrchat"? Seriously?? That's pretty sad man if life is so good that we have to go out of our way to be offended by harmless fun
