Dear Twitter!

I can see you’re going through a lot. But I have some suggestions. Me: http://twitter.com/MKBHD That shirt!: http://shop.

  1. Twitter is not a content creator social media. It should not make you money.
But it should not cost money to share your opinions, thoughts or even to have a conversation on it.
The blue check mark is also, imho, something that should not exist.
But then lots of tweets will be lost so not sure what’s the alternative here.

  2. Do people actually use twitter for "content"? For me it's not for entertainment, it's just to keep up with what people are doing. It's completely different from youtube.

This talk about paying people for interesting tweets seems weird. It might cause people to act differently, like try to be super witty or outrageous rather than being their normal selves.

  3. Tech tuber gives advice to a Tech inventor, I'm sure he appreciates the advice like a Science Professor receives advice from an elementary school student wanting to become a Scientist.

  4. Aye Marques. Tldr: nobody cares. Yet we're here having a "conversation".

I understand you're putting in effort to discuss a thing that people use, even though you fail to realize that none of this matters.

It gets you views and followers and subscriptions, good for you.

Musk's billions don't even matter. It's a website bought with electric currency.

I was going to say "who tf cares" but I'm here touching letters on my phone. So obviously I care.

I care enough to say that I genuinely don't care.

  5. I don't think Twitter is a place for creators but for text and opinions. I don't want another feed full of pictures and videos, I want a place where we can exchange our opinions and grab information.

  6. Musk is a fragile clown.

I can't wait to see him crash and burn following his incessant bullshit spinning and stock market meddling.

I love your videos Marques, but I cannot stand Musk. He lies with a straight face.

  7. Twitter is a dumpster fire, full of fake people and NF thots. I use it only when someone interacts with me and leave the app asap. Wouldn't miss it if it was gone.

  8. I don't care much about Twitter because it's hardly an educational platform (compare to youtube). It's just a gossip platform, which I think reddit is better. For stalking hot girls, Instagram is better.

  9. Sounds more like the changes are inconvenient for you as a creator making money from our consumer engagement. Please don't put your values above the public. We don't need everything dominated by influencers.

  10. I don't think most of the other online premium services can compare themselves to Linkedin Premiem, people are willing to pay for that because they could get a new job that leads them to tens of thousands of extra dollars in their bank account. It's an exception.

  11. Did I hear you right? “Free speech is every advertiser’s worst nightmare?” Not true. I’m an PPC ad manager for servers brands and it’s not even discussed. This is a mostly made up concern by a small group of activists.

  12. I have Twitter, but I've never understood what I'm supposed to use it for.
Its just lots of lots of 'spam'.

I dont care about 99% of the tweets I see.

  13. My 3 cents: why pay an ultra-millionaire, who you already proven that he can make the $$$ from ads in the platform? IMHO you need to rethink your mind capabilities if YOU end up paying HIM😁
And for what? displaying your impulses at sending a badly thought message so others can see it. A platform that caters to the overly narcissistic people like Musk himself!

  14. Elon should now stop with this bs and continue with his mission
I still remember the phrase from his book, "engineers are thinking about ways to make people click on ads". Elon is better than this.

  15. i literally get by 98% of the time with youtube only with occasional dips in facebook when i get a link shared and almost zero twitter use

Most of my knowledge of twitter is from the user information about it rather than using it
