In Europe everyone is using telegram. Honestly, I haven’t use Messages app for 5+ years. Telegram is safer than WhatsApp, it has other functionality that is very much useful(video/audio calls, smart folders, channels, etc.) just use telegram…

I have Google messenger. I don't see reactions, except for one android user. Can't even react to iphone users. I updated it, but still nothing.

The main problem with imessage was that I couldn't set up a single group chat with friends. Everyone moved over to WhatsApp.
Google really changed this to a war, soon Apple is going to respond to that and it will be a cycle of events between the two companies!
