4. I don't think it would be a Tesla phone and Elon never said it would be a Tesla phone. I guess he would come up with a Starlink phone, free internet and calls worldwide. Or an X-Phone, based on X-SuperApp.

Mark my words: they will use any means necessary to stop him, including assassination, if that’s what it takes. America is a mass-surveillance state working hard to maintain the illusion that the people are free and being told the truth. Remember that Operation Mockingbird never ended. That’s what’s happening here. Any news media outlet that believes in free speech would celebrate what Elon is doing. The fact that the mainstream media has gone into full attack mode tells you everything you need to know about where they stand, and how captured they are.

14. Anybody who thinks a phone manufacturing company run by Elon wouldn’t mine their data and would be better from a privacy perspective than Apple or android should check their head. It’s the name of the game nowadays (mining and selling data). Also there’s way too many people putting way too much faith in one individual, the cult of personality around Elon is frightening. Dude owns companies doing good things and doing them relatively well does not mean dude himself is a good person. Also, trying to build the entire ecosystem that exist around Android or iPhone is no simple task. It’s not an insurmountable challenge, but it wouldn’t be easy.

    Personally, I have no idea of what Musk thinks he is doing/is trying to do at Twitter. It is often said that to be successful in business it is important to have a plan. More perceptive counsel would be that owners/managers must have a good plan or 'the right plan', as Wang Chuanfu recently put it. I think there might be method, a plan of sorts, in the madness that Musk has recently exhibited at Twitter but I doubt that what he is doing could reasonably be considered the right plan. Musk may well discover that having the wrong plan for a business is just as expensive as having no plan at all. Is there actually anything to fix at Twitter that justifies sleeping in the office overnight? Yes, probably. Musk, now needs to fix the disasterous situation at Twitter that his hostile and utterly unnecessary intervention created.

17. It's not the brand, it is the eco-system, all of its devices working together seamlessly.. Tesla could have a small eco-system going between its phone, car, batteries, solar panels and hvac system, but any phone would do.. I don't see a Tesla phone as a differentiator..

22. Facebook + Microsoft + Amazon failed in making phones. Apple is the gate keeper and deservingly so, they created the App Store and the ecosystem. EV is trivializing how easy it is to make a phone. Why would Tesla invest in the mature phone industry unless it has disruptive tech? A reskinned Tesla android phone wont steal iPhone users. Starlink also needs direct access to the sky, so not for indoors. Tesla will not make a phone.

26. So Musk can create a new iphone, then a search engine to top Google, then recreate Amazon to sell , and on and on. In the meantime, all these platforms can deny his products access to their products. So, EM will need to create a new Google Play or Itunes App Store. And of course, Apple and Google could go a long way to make sure their products are not compatible with EM's products. Good luck on all of that, especially when he is starting from a political place where millions won't even consider his products. Young people who buy these products mostly lean left, not right. Maybe EM can invent a whole new world for his right wing friends.

27. So many guys lauch smartphone almost all countries have a nacional company that makes one, not counting the thousands of chineses brands and sub brands! And hum everyone in the planet will stop using IOS and Android if Tesla makes a smartphone? 😂 😂 That's so crasy no to mention weird! 30. Tesla could whip a phone together in a month, and it would be better than anything out there. So long if it could communicate through Starlink internet, I would buy it in a flash, and ditch my applefone.

31. I’d buy an xPhone in a heartbeat. The Android UI makes me cry, but the Apple ethos makes me queasy.
