  1. So I bought a budget phone only to realize there is no front facing camera which is fine with me but don't really do selfies bit can't video call where the person can see me other than getting a new phone again can anyone give me a solution or a device recommendation that can be added to the phone?

  2. This phone: Actual Innovation from 2 years ago…

Apple 14 : Dynamic Island and called it innovation (well its called a notch its there since 2017)

  3. Chinese will beat apple but they need good marketing and support . But apple will try to break them using politics rather than competing with them. Unlike HUAWEI

  4. i should be excited, but this actually frightens me, any obfuscation from any seemingly innocuous looking device that can tape some of my intimate moments just doesn't make me feel so good.

and this phone is from ZTE… think about it people, this phone has destroy my privacy courtesy from China!

  5. That looks so, so much better than current smartphone offerings! Is it noticeable? Yes, sure, if you try. Is it better than a black cut out section of your smartphone screen? Significantly!!!

  6. Why have a front camera at all? Just to have your biometrics logged so someone can ID you when needed? Old fashion fingerprint readers all all we need, from a privacy perspective.

  7. Do not like notch or punch out front facing camera on a mobile phone, actively go out of my way to not upgrade to a phone with one of the annoying setups.

  8. LET'S WAIT FOR SAMSUNG ZFOLD3 UNDER DISPLAY CAMERA . i plan to buy one. I hope it will not turn out like that foggy and dreamy camera quality.

  9. Personally i would rather just have NO front facing camera… I wander why companies wont try to release such a version. Just to give the consumer options and it would actually save manufacturers money

  10. Been thinking of this for years just didn't succeed 🤦🏻‍♂️place the camera between the left and right eye of someone taking a selfie in portrait mode and landscape mode (so, 2 cameras in total). Then, you should be better able to look people in the eyes on video calls, while simultaneously making eye contact with the camera. Every person's selfie dimensions will vary, but this shift in camera location and technology should be an improvement on looking into an empty lense at the top of a screen during video calls, for example, which usually is not conducive to maintaining eye contact.
