15. When Microsoft started putting all their Xbox first party games on PC simultaneously, they basically told people they don't need an Xbox console to play their games. That's why they don't use console sales as a measure of success anymore. It is player engagement for them, especially with game pass. Playstation and Nintendo can fight it out over console sales, while Microsoft plays a different game.
